Maryada, a story from the North, with traditions and modernity in conflict. Old habits and new values. The family of the Jhaakars is the center piece.
Father and son
The son is the SSP of the city and his father, is the Emperor in the back ground, whom all in the family adore. He does not agree with the behavior of his son, and there is a long running feud of antagonism between them.
The son is a closet hedonist, but to the eyes of the public he is a famous hero of the city, maintaining its Law and Order.
The story revolves round Priya and Aditya. The latter is the son of the SSP, who had raped Priya, long time ago, and this guilt is eating at the heart of the SSP and he will go to any length to cover it, and save himself.
SSPs father has been suspecting that something is bothering his son, and he is very tense. As the story progresses, everyone is waiting how this secret will come out.

Deviyani is the first, the wife of the SSP.
Vidya is the daughter in law of their unwilling son Gaurav, who has been tied in matrimonial bondage by the mother. The third one is Priya, who marries their bubbly son, Aditya, and whom, the future father in law, the SSP had raped in the train.
The fourth woman is Uttara, the sister of Deviyani, whose life has been messed up by her husband. See how these women will reclaim their dignity and place in society.

Tara saying "Go away, Dont touch me, i hate you".. they both rush towards her..It is Uttara on whom Tara is screaming at.. she says she doesnt wanna see her face and she should go away.
Deviyani tells Uttara to leave Tara and go from there..Uttara is hysteric she says if she would go then who would take care of Tara.
All are involved in helping Uttara and Tara.
