Khanak calls...Shaan on screen..turns around...
(yellow shirt tucked in jeans and those killer aviator sunglasses)
"Khanak?!" (in a pretty desperate voice)
"Shaantanu!"
"Sshhh"
"aap mujhe.."
"Sshhh!!"
"par mujhe..."
"Sshhh"
"kya sshhh sshhh laga rakha hai!! mujhe bolna hai aur main boloongi kyunki main khanak hoon!"
"kya yaar khanak! kabhi toh romantic ho jaaya karo! kya mood mein tha main!"
"Aap ka bas chale toh.."
"Ab mera muh mat khulvao khanak..mera bas chale toh.." (huskiness personified)
"main nahi hoon romaentic, khush! ab suniye, aaj raat maine na party rakhi hai"
"Really khanak tumhe yaad tha?!!" *Shaan ecstatic*
"itna bada din hai toh yaad kaise nahi rehta?"
"main bas next flight se ghar aa raha hoon..bye and I love you!"
khanak blushes and goes to get ready.....
In the afternoon..Shaan comes home and is resting..
on the stairs..khanak walking upwards while looking backwards talking to haribha "aap plates wahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!
Shaan scoops her up on his shoulder..."kahan kahan firti rehti ho tum? pati ke liye time nahi hai tumhare paas!"
Shaan takes her to the room, closes the door, puts khanak on the couch and kneels before her.
Shaan: "ab bolo na!" *damn excited*
Khanak: "kya bolna hai mujhe?"
Shaan: "kitna bhav khati ho yaar!!"
Khanak *coyly*: "maine toh dhokla khaya tha"
Shaan: "badi hansi aa gayi na??
yaar!! bol do!! ek baar?? please?"
Khanak puts her arms around Shaan, comes closer "keh doon?"
Shaan *Suprised..composes himself and puts his hands around khanak's waist* "kaho na" *same tone when he said chillao na*
*dies remembering that....okay me comes back from the dead..too scary out there*
Khanak: "Mujhe Duck bha ne angrezi mein bhi bolna sikhaya hai"
Shaan: "Oye!! English sirf maain sikhaoonga!! Meri biwi ho!!"
Khanak: "theek hai! theek hai!"
Khanak whispers in Shaan's ears "Happy.....new year!" and hugs him!
Shaan shocked mouthes "new year" meanwhile hugging her half-heartedly....suddenly breaks free when he realises Khanak is not joking..
"tum mujhe new year wish karna chahti thi??"
"burthal ke burthal hi rahenge...naye saal pe main kya aapko diwali ki badhai doongi?!" She gets up shaking her head in exasperation and walks off...
Shaan *to himself*: Diwali ka toh pata nahi par meri biwi mera diwala zaroor nikal degi....nahi Shaan! Tu aur atyachar nahi sahega!! Atyachar!! kya hindi boli Shaan! *pats himself* DUDE! Focus!! Khanak ko tera birthday yaad nahi raha?! Shantanu khandelwal ka birthday?! Theek hai main bhi usse tab tak baat nahi karoonga jab tak woh mujhe birthday wish nahi karti..Yeah!"
Sam-Khanak-Duck
Khanak arranging the flowers in the vases while Duck is trying his luck with the balloons ...Sam comes...Shaan ko gift kya doon...kuch samajh nahi aa raha...as it is itna naaraz hai.."
Duck: "main kuch sugest karoon?"
Sam *excited* "haan bol na duck!"
Duck thinks for a second before giving a confused look to Sam "par tu new year pe gift kyun dena chahti hai"
Sam (bangs her head): "Idiot! tu balloons kya apni shaadi ki decoration ke liye fula raha hai?"
Duck blushes before Sam jerks him out of his reverie "Abbe!! Aaj Shaan ka birthday hota hai!"
Khanak turns, Ducks balloon bursts..*kekta bg score*
Khanak : "Birdday matlab toh janamdin hota hai na?"
Duck: "Bhabhi abhi angrezi nahi..aaj ek cheez sikhayi na maine aapko?!"
Khanak comes holding the two vases like swords towards Duck
Sam covers Duck "kya kar rahi ho khanak!"
Khanak thrusts one vase in Sam's hand..the other in Duck's...says worriedly
"Wahi toh!!maine kuch kiya hi nahi! Ab samjhi wo mujhse kya chahte the!!"
Khanak comes in the bedroom..realises Shaan is in bathroom...
"hey bhagvaan!! peramise karti hoon kabhi nahi bhooloongi...par abhi ke liye kya karoon???"
*looks at Shaan's shirt and jeans kept on the bed*
Shaan comes out with the towel wrapped around his waist..sees khanak in his shirt and jeans...
Khanak blushes...but then gets up, goes to the door, bolts it sensuously..dims the lights and switches the fan..
rose petals fall on Shaan as he stands there not quite believing it was his own khanak..nonetheless enjoying it...
khanak comes towards him..."aap hi ne toh kaha tha aap kapde khud decide nahi kar pate toh phir mere bina kaise kar liya??"
Shaan: "Khanak..tumne kuch piya hai kya?"
Khanak *throws her hair on his face* : "main toh kabse aapke liye pyaasi baithi hoon.."
then turns around and says to herself "zyaada ho gaya! khanak tu kaisi burthal hai!"
Shaan gets in the mood...picks her up..puts her on the couch...places himself behind her..holding her from the waist..
"really khanak?"
And the scene blurs and your imagination runs :D
