Rasika joshi well known tv and film actress was suddenly taken ill last week. She is believed to be sufferering from stage 3 blood cancer and has been bravely battling this grim illness for over a year now. She continued to work even against medical advice and came back to balaji telefilms daily soap bandini after a month of suffering a relapse. However a source on the bandini sets told us she was again hospitalised last week and had to miss shooting of both thu &fri episodes of bandini although her presence was very much required as it was engagement of her grand nephew in the show. But there was no way she could attend shooting so they had to carry on without her. BT head honcho Ekta kapoor expressed concern over her illness & hoped she would return soon to the bandini sets. We at TOI wish rasikaji a speedy recovery.
