Characters can never be black and white

Guys,

Why the tendency to always paint characters in black and white?
I just read posts saying, ohh so now CV s want to make Armaan mahaan..... I mean even when the show is ending, you want to still do this.

Every character in this play have shades of gray..... as simple as that......there is good in them and then there are times when the so called "not so good" in them surfaces. So? We are all like that,.....none of us are pure hearts and saints.

I personally had wanted Armaan to move on with Shilpa.....but at the same time, I was really touched with the past two episodes that the creatives delivered..... they made each and every fan group cry.
Today again, I saw the episode, and the characters made me feel for them.... everyone of them.

I am as of now appreciating the story and the turmoil within the characters in these last few days, and I think between the CV s and the actors, they are doing a fantastic job in portraying that inner turmoil, and is able to touch us..... I am not bored, I am not irritated..... I am only appreciating the story. And I can feel for all four of them.... Armaan ... Sid.... Riddhima ... Shilpa ... all of them. I am not able to hate/ dislike any of the characters.

Today for the first time I felt for Riddhima ...... why do people need to call her confused..... this situation can certainly happen to someone ..... u love your husband a lot(an affection if you will) but that strong bond and history that has been there with the only person with whom you voluntarily fell in love with, that too cannot go off.......yes she has to make a decision..... and no .... its not easy as deciding what to wear for dinner.

So I really request ..... that for once , please please please forget who you have been rooting for ..... please try to delve within the characters and try to explore the different shades within each of them.......... not one is painted completely in black and white, and yet they have been able to portray so many different emotions that they make you feel for them.

Enjoy the story please. I know I was bored earlier.... but frankly since the last three days, I am thinking, if only they had given us something like this earlier ( and here I dont mean the exact current story line but something equally riveting), we would not have neared the end so soon.

Agree with u...But still can't get these sudden twists...They should rather end DMG ...I din understand why wouldn't Riddhima stop Armaan especially when Sid himself is asking her to do so...Later she would regret her decision...

Cause thats what the character Riddhima is and has always been ..... try to remember what all ultimately led to the first confession scene.......she has always been stuck between "is this right? and should I or should I not? " ....she has always been that way........ she is nothing different even today.

Absolutely!
Whats with people? When Armaan fights for his love...they call him names. When he backs off...they still complain about him trying to be 'mahan'.Please leave aside your bias and then watch the show. You will really feel for this guy. Why just him,at this point I feel terrible for all the 3 character .

I'm an AR supporter but frankly speaking I loved the last 3 episodes even though we didn't get much of AR this week. Its very clear that the creatives are making a conscious effort of delivering us some quality episodes in the last few days of DMG.Lets not complain just for the heck of it.

Lol ... there will be a way out ( not to worry )
Ok first and foremost , if we want Riddhima to move on, we ourselves have to learn to move on a bit.
As of now , there is this entire furore on the EMA track ( me included :) )
But we now need to move on ..... we need to get over our anger on the EMA track .... it happened , some liked it , some didnt ... and thats that..... we need to really get over it, the way we tell Riddhima to get over it :)

Now given that it has happened, but obvious that girl will be so confused ( and she is not at all out of character..... if you recall, the same Riddhima was always stuck between 'should I do this or should I do that" .... when it came to confessing to Armaan right in the beginning. We did not mind it so much, because since there was only one guy on the canvas at that time, there was predictability , which is why we said, she ll ultimately obviously say yes to Armaan........

Now we do not like that same Riddhima confused ( and she is once again stuck between "to be or not to be" ) , because we are not able to adjust to unpredictability ..... its like not having done well in your exams, and waiting for the results to come out, and each day that you have to wait for the results to come out, you hate the wait.

So no... she is not being a ping pong girl...... lol ........... I mean there is certainly some kind of pull and bonding ( some can call it a certain layer of love) between Sid and Riddhima ..... but there is also an entire history between Armaan and Riddhima , and given that the EMA has happened ( for the sake of a discussion lets not start bashing it again, though I know you are dying to) .... obviously her senses are heightened. If you have different intensities of bonding with two different people, of which one is also your husband, plus you have also failed him in some way, what do you think you want to do? Give yourself time, right? Cause this is a once and for all decision, isnt it.

Certainly she ll decide .... that is what the story is about.

What we need to understand if we at all have any intentions of "wanting" to like the story is, that we need to understand each character in their different layers........ we cannot sort them into two compartments of good or bad....... cause that is not what the story is

Honestly..... there is no one right or wrong in this story..... there are events and then there are reactions.....obviously diff people would react in diff ways..... but thats not to say that the other person's reaction is wrong.... its just a reaction thats it.

IMO, the story isn't appealing to me in any way. The leading lady does nothing but running around in circles from the past 6 months. One of the leading heroes is made to suffer for no reason. Every action is debetable for the other leading hero. The story seems like a repeat telecast everyday. On the whole, there is nothing to watch DMG without wanting to pull your hair out. Yes, I feel empathy, but that's no good reason to watch a show, is it?
