Jannat of Kashi fame in Hema Mailni show

Hema Malini's show on Colrs Matti Ki Banno will see Jannat playing the younger version of the female lead.

Hema Malini Media Entertainment's upcoming show on Colors, which was tentatively titled Jaiyy Pia Ke Des has now got its final title in 'Matti Ki Banno'. The show is expected to launch in the last week of October or early November.
The little Jannat who played the young Kashi in the Imagine TV's show has been roped in to play the younger version of the female lead in Matii Ki Banno.
A little birdie tells us, "Jannat will have a short cameo role to play wherein she portrays a bubbly child who lives in Mauritius with her parents. The girl who lives the life of luxury gets a set-back in her life when she looses her parents and is forced to come back to India to live with her relative, who treats her badly. Jannat has already shot for her schedule at Mauritius and is presently shooting in Mumbai."
We also hear that actor Raj Premi who essayed the role of Kans in Colors mytho Jai Shri Krishna will play the male lead's father. Noted actress Natasha Rana who played the popular character of Choti Maa in Star Plus' Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai, is expected to play a very interesting cameo role in this show.
When contacted Jannat's father confirmed the news and said, "Yes, Jannat plays the child version of the female lead in Hema Malini's show. She will have a small role which might go up to 5-6 episodes, after which the leap will be taken."
We tried contacting Natasha Rana but she remained unavailable.
The unit has started shoot in Mumbai after their first outdoor schedule in Mauritius. Our readers would remember that Tellybuzz was the first to report about Manoj Chandila and Via Roy Choudhury playing leads in the show.
Matti Ki Banno will be in all probability might replace Thoda Hai Bus Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai, that presently airs at the 7.30pm slot.
