Saif asked me to wear a tuxedo that's what Adil Hussain's 'Agent Vinod' co-star Saif Ali Khan advised him to wear when the latter heard that he is going to walk the red carpet in Rome for 'Gangor'
How has been the experience of shooting for " Agent Vinod" in Latvia and Morocco?
Saif is one of the producers of " AV". He is extremely caring and makes sure that I'm looked after well. He also supervises my look in the film. He insisted that I must look every bit the lean, mean guy. That's why he got me to lose 5 kg in two months. Sometimes, he gives me tips that will help me to work in Bollywood. After all, I am not extremely aware of this industry. The elderly generation in Latvia is aware of Raj Kapoor's "Awara". Mithun Chakraborty is extremely popular here and I've had people asking me about him and humming his "I am a Disco Dancer". In Morocco, people know about Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Did Saif know that you were his sister, Soha's, first co-star?
No, at least he never said so. Once while chatting, I told him about how I had met his mother while doing a house-play in Delhi. She had known me from my "Iti Srikanto" days and had invited me over to her place. But I had misplaced my phone and had lost her number. That's how Saif came to know about my film with Soha. But he didn't have anything to say about my performance there.
Have you told Saif that you will be walking the red carpet at the Rome International Film Festival for Italo Spinilli's "Gangor"?
Yes, I did. I asked him what to wear. He said I should go for a black tuxedo.
Do you discuss movies with Kareena too?
Kareena is a very spontaneous person. Every third day, Saif, Kareena and I go out for dinner. Though Kareena is a star, she is a very homely girl after the shoot is over. "AV"'s director Sriram Raghavan had told Kareena that I had told him about not having watched any of her movies. She could have not taken kindly to it but instead, she asked me if I have watched any of Saif's movies. I said: "Omkara". She immediately told me that she was in "Omkara" too.
