FV starts by saying that it is said that when God creates everybody, everybody is created w/ one shortcoming or another, but it is up to them to transcend it and achieve greater things. Same way, Sandhya has overcome her difficulties as a result of being blind, and leads a normal life like anyone else. However, regardless of how much one tries, that shortcoming does get sensed by one sometimes.
Sandhya asks Suni chachi how...
Sandhya is going around the room, feeling her way, noting that people could have shifted anything anywhere to confound her. Finally, she gets to the living room sofa and bumps into Suni chachi, who is seated. She asks Suni chachi if it was her, and Suni tells her that she should have come w/ someone. Sandhya tells her that she too seems to think that she's started to blunder, and that her judgement is failing her. Suni chachi disagrees, and tells her that she cannot be wrong, and who'd know that better than Suni chachi herself, and that she shouldn't have told Sandhya that. Sandhya asks her that if she needs to follow someone silently unnoticed, how would she do that? Suni chachi is surprised and tells her that she'd follow one silently unnoticed (This was like one of those Live Media jokes that one sees in some establishments ) Sandhya tells her that her question applies specifically to one who is blind, like she is. Suni asks her whether she wants to follow someone, and in an adjoining room, Yuvraj is sneakily listening. Sandhya is startled @ the question and tells her, no, she doesn't want to spy on anyone, she just wants to sneak up on Neeraj & scare him 😆 since he pulls pranks on her all the time. Yuvi hears this and is happy & relieved.
Suni chachi tells Sandhya that only she can answer that, b'cos if a person like her was shadowing someone, how would she know whether the person being shadowed is aware of it or not? And how would she do it? Suni chachi thinks Sandhya is up to something else. She tells Sandhya she is quite independent and can do even things that normal people cannot. Sandhya wonders how she can shadow Yuvraj & discover what he's hiding.
Jayesh brings take-out again 😆
It's night, and @ Jayesh's place, his cooking attempts seem a disaster, and his countertops are a mess. Jayesh is sitting w/ Apu & Swati and giving them take-home Chinese food. 😆 The kids both are thrilled w/ the food, and Jayesh tells them to only eat as much as they need, and he'll put the rest in the fridge, and have it tomorrow. Swati objects, and says that if their mom is back tomorrow? They beg him to let them finish. Jayesh agrees. (Bad idea - if they overeat this take-home food, they're more likely to get a bad stomach, like on the pizza occasion. Jayesh, you should have laid down the rules, but thrown out all the packaging - that's how it's done.)
Rohit's grief over theft 😡
Rohit's father is reading his mom the riot act, telling her that he'll kick her out if she dares feed Shradhya. MIL cost him Rs 140, and Sharadhya Rs1 lakh. He makes dispariging remarks about the women in this family. He tells her that until Sharadhya comes home w/ the mangal sutra, she'll neither be allowed in, nor get any food. Rohit resumes wailing @ the loss of the mangal sutra, but Abha tells him to handle himself. He tells Rohit to stop crying, and that the crying would have to be done by Shradhya 😡
Sandhya tries to get the truth out of Neeraj
Sandhya is lying awake while Yuvi is asleep, recalling the events of the last few weeks. She thinks that Neeraj definitely knows the truth, but can't tell her in front of anybody. So she gets up and after checking that Yuvi is asleep, goes to Neeraj's room & knocks. Neeraj opens it this time, and Sandhya tells him that she knows that he lied in Mumbai, and told her the truth the other day, and that it wasn't a joke. Neeraj takes her in, closes the door and tries to repeat his earlier statement, but Sandhya tells him that she overheard Yuvraj tell his mother that Sandhya doesn't know the truth as a result of what Neeraj said. She asks him what is that secret, and not to tell her that this too is a joke. She begs him to stop making a mockery of her life: she cannot sleep, and from the speed @ which he opened his door, she knows that he can't either.
Neeraj recalls Prabha's threats, and tells Sandhya that the truth is that she is Yuvi's wife, and the bahu of this family, and shouldn't be in his room @ this hour. He doesn't know what she overheard Yuvi say, but the truth is that the whole family knows he is a practical joker who doesn't care whose feelings get hurt by his jokes. Sandhya congratulates him, and tells him that he was her last hope, and that too is gone 😭
Abha stops wife from helping Shradhya
Shradhya is sitting outside, and seeing her, her MIL looks around to see if anyone's there, and then goes to open the door. Just then, the light goes on & she sees Abha staring @ her. He tells her that if she wants to help her, to pack her things and take it w/ her, b'cos once she steps out for that purpose, he won't let her back in, and he's explaining this to her for the last time. He then goes inside and prays for the recovery of his belongings. His wife sees this w/ disgust, and asks the godess what sort of irony is this - on one hand, honoring women as godesses, and yet, turning them out of the house. 😭
DK & Yuvraj discuss Neeraj
DK is still surprised by what Neeraj did in Mumbai, and tells Prabha that since alls well that ends well, since Neeraj didn't desert them so far, he has no suspicions about him.
Yuvraj disagrees, and tells DK that he is still suspicious about Neeraj, despite what he did. He tells them that when Neeraj is w/ Sandhya, he does what they want him to do, but when Neeraj is alone w/ Yuvi, he taunts him, is hostile and doesn't have the right attitude. Prabha & DK are shocked to hear that.
Rohit gives Shradhya a rude awakening 😡
Shradhya is asleep outside the front door, and Rohit comes w/ a pot of water, and pours it on her, waking her up. He tells her that there was a call from the police station - the thief was caught, and they want her to go and ID him. She tells Rohit that she'll wash her mouth & go, and Rohit asks her whether the water he threw @ her wasn't enough? 😡 He orders her to leave right away, and a frightened Shradhya leaves.
Yuvraj ignores Sandhya & leaves
Sandhya & Yuvraj are sitting on their bed, w/ him staring @ her in a hostile manner. Sandhya asks him if he is there. Yuvraj doesn't answer, but gets up & leaves the room, pretending not to be there. 😡 Sandhya wonders why he left just like that, but decides to welcome him lovingly when he returns as though nothing has happened (Thought like a pro, Sandhya 👏)
Sandhya fries her Tai 😆
Sandhya's cell phone rings, and it's Jayesh. He asks her whether she's arrived, and gives it to Savita to talk.
Sandhya scolds her 😆 and tells her she won't talk to her - she visited them for Janmasthami, and she went to her hubby's gaon. 😆 Savita tells her that she came w/o notice, so she didn't know. She tells Sandhya that they'll bring the kids over and visit. Sandhya tells her to definitely come. She then tells Sandhya that she's hanging up, and puts down the phone - without hanging up 😆🤣
Savita then heaves a sigh of relief, while Sandhya thinks to herself that Tai doesn't realize how much Sandhya needs to talk to her. Just then, Sandhya hears Savita tell Jayesh that she doesn't know why, but she thinks Sandhya urgently wanted to talk to her about something. She said that she very much wanted to go and meet Sandhya, but the hospital authorities wouldn't release her. Sandhya is shocked to hear that Tai is in the hospital, while Savita scolds Jayesh for lying to Sandhya. Sandhya starts yelling on the phone, while Jayesh reminds Savita that it was she who told him not to tell Shradhya, Shreya & Sandhya. Savita explains that that was b'cos they were in another city, but since Sandhya was in town, it would have been fine for her to know. Jayesh tells her that once she's discharged, she can go.
Jayesh then picks up the phone, and notices that Sandhya is still on 🤣 He asks Savita that she hadn't disconnected the phone, and answers it, and Sandhya begs him to give it to Tai. Savita is shocked, and takes the phone. Sandhya protests @ not being told she was in hospital, and Savita tells her it was a minor injury. She tells Sandhya that she did not tell Jayesh to lie. Sandhya tells her she's going there right now!!! Savita tells her that she'll return tomorrow, and that she'll herself visit Sandhya. This time, they disconnect, and Sandhya is annoyed that Tai didn't tell her she was in hospital. Luckily, she forgot to disconnect, and so Sandhya....
Sandhya gets a brilliant solution
Sandhya realizes that b'cos Savita forgot to disconnect, she overheard everything. If she left Yuvi's phone on, she'd be able to hear in on an entire conversation. In fact, if she called Yuvi's phone, left it on, then just sitting in her own room, she can overhear everything. But Yuvi's phone is always in his hands, so getting her hands on it would be difficult, plus if he received calls of his own, that would be another complication.
Sandhya then realizes that she could use her own phone - call her own phone from the land line, leave it in Yuvi's jacket pocket, and listen to it from the land line, then this plan is possible. First of all, nobody calls her (other than Savita, who just did), then his phone is always in his hand, and also, if he wonders how Sandhya's phone got in his pocket, she can always claim that he accidentally mistook her phone as his and put it in (do you 2 have the same make phones?) She then reaches for the cordless phone, and the scene ends w/ a phone in each of her hands (Brilliant solution, Sandhya - sure hope you pull this off!!!)
FV notes that regardless of how ones shortcomings might handicap one, one comes up w/ really innovative ways of surmounting it 👏

I loved the solution!!! Finally, Savita's/Jayesh's absent mindedness did something useful. There is no way Sandhya can go around the house hearing what Yuvi and others are saying. But using her cellphone as a bug, then just sitting in her room listening over the land line is brilliant. What's more, she can always claim that she's talking to either one of her tais, or nephews/neice. While in the meantime, she hears everything being said behind her back about her, Neeraj, Suni chachi, et al.
Hopefully, this works, and Sandhya discovers everything about Yuvraj that way - his disability, the family role in her father's murder, the plot to get her in bed w/ Neeraj, the plot to get rid of her if she cannot be used, and anything else Prabha or DK might conjure up. One more thing I loved about Sandhya today - her brain is firing on all cylinders, whether it is on how to psychologically handle Yuvi, telling Suni chachi that she wants to pull pranks on Neeraj, and finally, of course, the phone plan.
Jayesh - this time, please hope Swati or Apu don't get sick - and please clean up that countertop b4 Savita gets there.
Shradhya - I sincerely wish after she brings the mangal sutra home, she packs her bags and leaves that place. Let Rohit wear that mangal sutra - it befits him more.
