Everyone is tearful while performing the last rites of Sadhana. Alekh is speechless with shock. Vasu is touched when Ragini insists on taking care of and feeding both Khushi and Tamanna. Ragini is worried about raising the two little girls on her own. Sharma advises her to be strong if she wishes to embrace her responsibilities. Sharma is touched when Ragini promises to be a mother to Khushi. After 7 years, it is Tamanna's birthday and Sadhana's death anniversary. Ragini misses Sadhana a lot. Khushi is happy to see the message that Sadhana had recorded for her before she died. Alekh is mentally retarded. Ragini makes a firm decision to divide her time and effort equally between Khushi and Tamanna and never differentiate between them.

Khushi helps Tamanna to approach her mother as she waits for Ragini to wish her first. Ragini wishes Tamanna. Ranvir surprises Tamanna with a teddy bear. Khushi calls Ranvir and informs him about executing his surprise plan for Tamanna's birthday. Ranvir suprises Tamanna with 6 gifts hidden at home. Vasu insists on accompanying Alekh to the temple. Malti and Vineet are excited to see Kavya playing. Sharma and Vasu's family members pay homage to Sadhana. Alekh asks Vasu about Sadhana. Sharma and his family members wish Tamanna. Tamanna sees her father missing in the party and questions Ragini

Everyone enjoys Anmol's performance at Tamanna's birthday party. Ragini is upset with Anmol for having danced with her against her wishes. Anmol clarifies that he did it for Tamanna's happiness. Ragini is tearful, looking at Ranvir's photograph. Vineet is angry with Kavya for trying to steal some chocolates at the party. Vineet and Malti have a tiff over this. Vasu admonishes Ragini for supporting Anmol. Ragini is now married to Anmol. Anmol lambastes Vasu for hurting Ragini. He clarifies that Ragini spends every moment of her life caring for their family. Vasu is angry and tells him that he can never take Ranvir's place in their life.

Alekh writes a message to Saadhna on a kite, hoping that it would reach her. Sharma tells Kaushalya that he is worried about Ragini, as she is unable to forget Ranvir and lead a happy life with Anmol. Ragini thanks Anmol for surprising Tamanna on her birthday. Kavya and Malti are depressed when Vineet insists on serving food to orphans on his birthday. Vasu refuses to trust Anmol with handling the accounts of Rajvansh Industry. Alekh wakes up Khushi and Tamanna to accompany him to the terrace, to play with the kite. Anmol wishes to talk to Ragini.

Anmol, Ragini, Indrajeet and Vasu are shocked to see Alekh playing with the kites with Khushi and Tamanna on the terrace. Alekh is so engrossed in sending a message to Sadhana that he is about to fall down. Anmol saves him. Vasu is furious with Alekh and slaps him. She locks him in a room and keeps him away from Khushi and Tamanna. Alekh requests Ragini to free him. Alekh wants Ragini to write a message to Sadhana, telling her that he misses her a lot. Ragini takes care of Alekh. Anmol assures Khushi and Tamanna, who are worried about Alekh. Ragini learns that it was Tamanna's idea to Alekh to send a message to Sadhana through kites.

Ragini is furious with Tamanna and slaps her for sharing her idea of kites with Alekh. Anmol consoles the upset Ragini. Ragini sees Khushi worried about Alekh and consoles her. Vasu and Ragini are shocked when Anmol helps Alekh escape from his room. Vasu orders Alekh to get back to his room. Anmol argues with Vasu and doesn't let Alekh follow her orders. Khushi is excited as Alekh is free. Kaushalya and Sharma visit Rajvansh House and enquire Vasu about Alekh. Ragini learns that Tamanna is angry with her and pacifies her.

Kaushalya is happy to see Ragini taking good care of Khushi and Tamanna. Vasu is worried about Alekh's mental condition. Anmol thanks Ragini for defending him in front of Vasu. Anmol picks up Guni from the airport. Anmol is happy to know that Guni won the first prize at a dance competition. Guni thanks Anmol for sending her to Mumbai for the competition, making a false excuse for the benefit of the family. Ragini is happy with Guni's return. Guni is excited to be with Khushi and Tamanna. Guni hides the truth from Vasu when she enquires about her studies. Ragini notices Guni's trophy and worries about Vasu getting to learn the truth.

Malti defends Kavya when Vineet taunts him for failing in his exams. Guni tries to reveal the truth of the dance competition to Ragini, but fails to do so. Vasu is touched with Alekh's painting of her and promises him a gift. Alekh shows her Guni's trophy and asks her to get him one too. Vasu is furious with Guni and questions her. Guni admits the truth. Everyone is stunned when Anmol declares that he helped Guni go for the competition. Vasu is angry with Anmol, and he argues with her. Ragini defends Vasu. He assures Vasu of always safeguarding the Rajvansh family. Vasu accuses Anmol of exploiting the Rajvansh name and asks him the reason for marrying Ragini, a widow.
