How to stop Omi-Bittan marriage?

Hi friends,
Is there some way we can influence the writers not to take the story in that direction? I just cannot digest Bittan being Omi's wife. That's just awful! No girl shld go thru such a scenario. Marriage is not social service. No woman shld have to marry a person to change him and bring him to the right path! That shld be the duty of parents, school teachers, extended family! Why in India do we think a wife has to do everything? By the time she marries, the man is an adult! How on earth can she change him? 😡

Can we start a petition here?

If Omi brings in TRPs, let him be in the show as a permanent villain, but pls, not as Bittan's husband!

it is painful to know to Bittan will marry Omi for the operation fund
but what we are still unsure at this point of time is if the article will come true,we dont know what circumstances Bittan will be in to get married to Omi...neither do we know of any condition that she sets for the marriage,perhaps she proposes that she's doing this only for the money and doest really plan to live a life with him,its only a formality for Omi to get back at Abeer and Leher?

We can sure start a petition once we know the base of the track and if its unacceptable ,we will go ahead and protest ...

we also have to keep in mind that the show needs a lot of serious drama if they want to stay on air ,sad but true !

I understand your concern and totally agree with it ,lets just wait and watch atleast till the beginning of next week or until we get a promo about it ...

Gaayu....I agree with Hina...let's wait for a week or so before we send out the petition...you can also write in the 'suggestions to CVs' page in FB that Mari has created...I have done it...You can write to Colors...and the PH...But, we'll just wait for the next week's track to start...

Even I feel miserable to see our Bittan getting married to a goon like Omi...I feel that the wedding itself may not take place but the might bring us till there...just like Omi-Leher wedding...and now Abeer not even alone...He has Leher with him... 😃

Have patience, dear...and we'll see what we all have to do...

Gaayu, totally agree with you😊.....and also with all the comments made. My one consolation is that Parul Gulati won't be portraying the Bitten we know and love😭........if it was her, then I wouldn't be able to stomach it at all.....as it is the new actress, looks a lot more mature and capable so will see how it goes......as for changing Omi, I don't think that's the case.😡...if he is here for the long term then perhaps....but I would rather he stays as a comedic villian more than anything.....YPNHK needs the trps, even I can see that...😊........I really hope marraige does not go ahead but have a feeling it will...😲

Hey,

I am sure we can at least try coz we don't know what CVs have planned. If they see that we don't agree with Omi marrying Bittan maybe they will consider another way to handle Omi's track. I have the creative eyes email- So I can give that. And feel free to make a petition also. Will also post in on the feedback FB group.

Ofcourse .. the Bittan-Omi marriage track is the most unpleasant piece of news we've got lately, and certainly don't want their marriage happening. Thinking of all sorts of scenarios .. I do feel that the marriage might not happen .. AbHer might just be able to avert it in the nick of time. Hopefully. But I must say .. this new track seems to be more a channel decision than the writers/CV's one.

But yes .. we might as well let them know that the Omi-Bittan track is not something we're looking forward to. There could be many other ways to progress with the story, other than Bittan's forced marriage for the sake of her father's health.

I agree Bittan-Omi marriage has not happened yet. The CVs are sure to drag it for as long as they can because that will definitely bring in TRPs. But from other forums, it seems like the CVs do change the story line if they get a strong message from the fans that they do not like a certain track. Which is why I wondered if we should let them know not to even contemplate such a possible scenario!

Plus, I don't see how Bittan can marry Omi if Abeer tells her it was Omi who video-taped AbHer meeting in his house and telecast it live over the mohalla.

Could she do it for her father? I am confused myself because how to weigh what is more important- not marrying a he-devil or saving dad's life!

Gaayu - If Bittan gets married to Omi .. she is doing it for her father! To save his life!! There is no other reason.

Bittan knows how Omi is .. she even questioned Leher when she agreed to marry Omi .. saying "tum uss gunde se kaise shaadi kar sakti ho?" Bittan knows Omi's asliyat .. she doesn't really need Abeer to tell her that Omi was responsible for the live-streaming. Plus .. Bittan was there throughout, when Leher tells Abeer that she suspects Omi behind the live-streaming!

I guess .. in such cases, the thought process would be like .. "If Leher could agree to marry Omi for thier dad's izzat .. now there is bigger reason .. viz., thier dad's life!"

Gaayu, I agree with you 100%.......Omi-Bittan marriage should not happen...........just thinking of it makes me gag! 🤢 My skin positively crawls at the idea.........🤢

Even if the idea is presented and marriage is arranged, it should not happen......I don't see why she should sacrifice herself for anything! There must be other ways to raise money! 🤢
