according to the tellychakkar june mag, "vrushali chavan earns 75,000 from a dance show (the fact that she has to give 1/2 to the channel because of her contract is a different story)"

did gives the contestants a platform and fame. jai's dance school has opened up more branches post did and they are getting invitations for shows around the country and world. the show def increases the earning potential of its contestants.

DID's just a means to go a long way. And those who want to are already starting to prove out they can... ;) Proud of each of DID's contestants so far. We've heard mostly only good things. Different contestants choose different paths, and we can't blame them for that, but personally, am very very proud of those who chose to remain in this field, and even if we don't get to hear of them often, are making a mark out for themselves in the field!

The best idea of DID is that it is telecast world wide. So.. those with talent and fans will sure survive.. as well as earning more. Last week.... I went to a course and met some friends, I was surprised there were Jai's fans among them. I was just so glad.

Hmmm ! Interesting ! Does any one know how much do the skippers get paid ? Is it per episode ? How about the kids? And what about Remo-Geeta-Terence?

What about their assistants? Any insiders here ?
