Character sketch
Hiten is the eldest son of DM. He was in love with Khemi but had to give up because of the massi-bhanja relation they shared. He later married DM's business friend's daughter Toral. Post leap he is the maalik of Dharampur and is handling the village issues. Toral and Hiten are blessed with twins, a boy and a girl.
Kadambari is the second child and was married to her parents college mates' son Shashank but later divorced him after some misunderstandings. She is now married to her ex boyfriend Sandeep.
Arjan (Kunal Thakkur) and Khemi (Leena Jumani)
Arjan is the third child of DM. He was stolen when he was born and destiny made a poor couple being his foster parents and got married to Khemi and later proved as DM's son through DNA test. He is killed by Birwa while attacking DM.
Khemi is the elder sister of Santu. She and Hiten was in love but when she knew about Santu divorcing for her she left the village and married Arjan. She was accepted by Tarulatha because she carried their vansh ka chiraag.
Krishna
He is the son of Arjan-Khemi.
She is the younger daughter of DM. A sweet little girl but had to kill her brother to save her father. The murder was kept a secret by Santu who took the blame for Birwa. Recently she revealed the truth to DM. She married Sarang her greedy ex-boyfriend to save Monghi from his evil intentions.
Youngest son of Dharamraj. He just joined the family business.
Tarulatha is DM's elder sister. She was the one who took care of all the kids when Subhi died and everyone thought she was single until the truth of her marriage to Kanji Waghela was revealed and she confessed that only Subhi knew the truth and Maulik is her son and not DM's. She thinks Kanji betrayed her and thast thereason for her to hate thr lower caste people.
Maulik (ex-Mahiyavanshi) Waghela (Shardul Pandit)
Maulik was broght up as a Mahiyavanshi but later revealed to be Taru and Kanji Waghela's son. He was always insecure and his anger became revengeful and he was the one who instigated Arjan against Hiten which lead to Arjan's death. Maulik is the partner of Sandeep in the flesh trade and was in jail and is recenlty said to be out.
Grandfather of Santu, Khemi and Monghi. He raised his garnddaughters after his daughter Reva and son-il-law Chagan was died.
Young Monghi was a chirpy little girl who grown upto a pampered one and was in love with Sarang but he betryaed her on the wedding day and married Birwa. She is still in love with him.
