Leher's uncle uncle seems mad at everybody....
why ??? any reason??? Abeer's dad is mad at him???

All the characters .. are pretty real, acc. to me. A slightly exaggerated .. but still, real.

Dadi is mad at Leher .. there are valid reasons. We may not agree .. but from Dadi's POV, they are valid. Firstly, Leher does not belong to a 'high class Brahmin family' .. which is the main issue here, considering the show is based on a intercaste love & marriage. Secondly .. with Leher in Abeer's life .. Dadi feels threatened. She feels Leher has 'stolen' her grandson from her. Since Abeer fell in love with Leher .. Dadi has seen a side of him, which she never knew existed. He rebelled against the family .. walked out on them and got married against their wishes - I think that is good enough reason for someone like Dadi, to hate Leher .. without getting to know the person she is. Dadi .. like most elderly ladies .. believe that what they think and do for their children, is the best. They can't accept changes quickly .. and here, Abeer has taken a 180 degrees turnaround!!

Abeer's dad .. again, is mad at Abeer .. for the same reasons. He's a chip off the old block.. egotistical, and very proud of his Brahmin lineage! He can't stand the fact that Abeer rebelled against the family and got married to the girl he loves .. that too, a girl from another caste.

Leher's uncle .. well, he's just a cynical old man! Never sees the good in anyone but himself and his immediate family. He feels he has been wronged .. all his life, he's had to live under the shadow of his elder brother. He's just mad at everything .. and takes out his anger at anyone and everyone.
