Oh wow! I love this song. One of the rare occasions when Shaan sang for AR Rahman.

Never heard of this song, but great track! And great singing once again by Kavita. She should be on the look out for #1 again.

I am not surprised that you didn't heard this song before. The film flopped big time plus this song wasn't promoted much.

I liked the movie. I also liked the song "Nachley" from this movie.

But this song has a nice beat, along with great singing from both Shaan and Kavita (This could go as one of Shaan's best), great overall composition.

Kavitaji's singing amazes me even today...she is musically sooo sound. this song got its justice when Kavitaji was kept in mind for singing...I give her a 10... of course there are other songs which are beyond excellence and if we get that here she wud get a 15 or a 20 instead of a ten...btw wasn't the songs from this movie a remake of some Tamil movie, not sure but I can vouch I heard that Uffo jalta hai in Tamil or so...

9 /10.

Its a typical A.R. Rehman track, soft yet sweet and melodious. Shaan does a commendable job, so does Kavitaji. Her voice sounds like an eternal angel and single handily lifts the spirit of the track. But the modulation can be better, much much better. The overall singing is pretty straightforward and the scale plus tempo is consistent throughout.
But the main drawback is that the track lacks a bit of feel to make it an unforgettable one. I gave it a 9 purely on combination of singing plus melodious voice plus the soft background tunes, a certain "my kind" of track.

Rahman reused three classic songs he composed for Tamil film Rhythm, including this one, with three new songs added.
The songs of Rhythm were inspired from the elements of the world.
