I love this song. It's a Raga Darbari-based melody and it's definitely refreshing to hear Shaan sing something with a classical touch - he was the true surprise package in this song!

But Kavitaji... ab kya kahen? Whenever I have to judge her, I am not only lost for jargon, I'm lost for words in general!

A new song yet again for me..nice..

Kavita's melodic voice quality is the basic element of this song. The projection of throw is too low, I feel it could have been more enhanced. Kavita has done justice with her singing. There is beauty and delicacy as well. I felt a need for more romantic emotions from the overall singing.

Expressions are well portrayed. A nice track overall, no doubt, but I'll focus on the singing, where something is missing here, I am unable to catch the perfect reason for it. I gave 'Nimbooda Nimbooda' a 9 on 10, which was a fantastic performance from Kavita. But compared to that, and knowing the potentials that she has in her voice, this performance is not something extra-ordinary for me. Apologies to all those who loved this performance.

I would like to give an 8 out of 10.

I haven't heard this song before, but after hearing it I think it is beautiful. Shaan is so good and accompanies Kavita ji so well! 👏 That matters a lot believe or not! This is such a sweet and melodious slow song. Kavita ji had such a sweetness to her voice. She was so soft with her voice that at times it became hard to hear her voice. But that's a positive statement right now. She really had the right feel of the song. What I liked the best about this song is that the two singers were so focused with their singing. They didn't lack anywhere. Shaan's high notes are so amazing!

Final Rating: 9 only because I don't think its a 10 in comparison to other Kavita ji songs!

Great singing once again by Kavitaji!


She sings this song in a different style and tune. Very quiet, calm, and controlled. I liked it. She finishes her notes very well in this song, showing some of the great ability in her vocals.

This was a pretty difficult song throughout, the beat was comfortable, but the way she singed her notes, it was not easy. That's just what AR Rehman though just makes you do sometimes. He usually brings the best out of his singers. I loved her high pitch near the end of the song.

Overall, she sang great! I just felt that her voice in general throughout the song was just a little too thin and calm. Though she once again showed her singing ability, very talented singer she is. So it was better than Chitra (8), and Shreya (9), but not as good as Sadhna (10).
