Characters of Praushi:
Prakashchand Sharma:
A middle class average man who lives in a small city, Agra. He is a writer by profession and is happily married to his wife Kaushalya. He has two kids, a son and a daughter but along with them his niece also stays with him. He always lived his life with pride and honesty and never did anything which could hurt his self-esteem. However, whenever required he always went out of the way to help irrespective of whom it was. Altogether he is a man who lived his life with dignity and expected his children to do the same.

Kaushalya Sharma:
A middle-class simple woman who loves her husband and children. She always follows the values set by her husband Prakashchand Sharma. Because of her dark complexion she faced a lot of problems due to which she is very concerned about her daughter Ragini who inherited her complexion. She is very protective about her kids and is close to her mother who stays nearby.

' Soft at heart and very kind yet mean when it comes to her kids especially daughter.
' Can do anything for the happiness of her family.
