Marshall decides to free Samar Singh from Gangadhar Rao's jail in the April 15 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV so that the blame falls on Krantiguru. Marshall tells his senior that this will give three benefits to the British - they will prove Gangadhar Rao as incompetent, when Krantiguru tries to rescue Samar Singh, they can arrest her and the third benefit he will reveal later.
The story takes a shocking turn when Marshall explodes a bomb in Gangadhar Rao's jail and frees Samar Singh. In the process, some soldiers as well as some prisoners get killed. Marshall leaves a letter for Gangadhar Rao purportedly written by Krantiguru. In the letter, Krantiguru mentions taking responsibility of the act.
Gangadhar Rao is shaken and miffed at Krantiguru. He tells Laxmibai he regrets trusting Krantiguru. Gangadhar Rao decides to give a punishment severe than death penalty to Krantiguru. Laxmibai is shocked and panics.
Laxmibai visits the prison from where Samar Singh was freed. Over there, she finds the Union Jack. She realizes this is Marshall's conspiracy to tarnish her image. Laxmibai vows to take revenge on Marshall. Laxmibai prays to God to ensure her success.
Laxmibai sends a letter to Gangadhar Rao in the name of Krantiguru. In the letter, she mentions she is ready to be present at his court provided Marshall is also present. What will Laxmibai do?
