it's a mind-blowing choice i must say. I would give it 10 on 10 no doubt about that. It shows the soulful romantic love and the anticipation. Great song!

Wah! Another amazing song from Anu Malik's National Award-winning soundtrack, 'Refugee'.

Before I give my comment+score, here is some trivia.

The song is a mix of two ragas: Yaman and Bihag

Aisa lagta hai, jo na hua hone ko hai
Aisa lagta hai, dil yeh mera khone ko hai - these lines are in Raga Yaman

Varna dil kyun dhadakta?
Saansein kyun rukti?
Neendein meri kyun ud jaati? - these lines are in Raga Bihag

Very sweet melodious song

Think is a not a very difficult song to sing, so am not so sure

REally like the way they continue the Varrnaaa ,but for some reason feel there is lack of voice or note clarity, so am going to listen to this after sometime, as I think both sunidhis, & shreyas numbers have filled my heart with sweetness

Ok the lack of voice or note clarity was cause my headset was coming off loose from my PC, hence everytime I moved i was losing the words,sorry about that

Liked this duet & the lyrics

High notes were ok

Like the way she sings saaseyyyy bhi rukh

But like sonu singing Ooooooooooooooo, better than alka's sonus seems more resounding to my ears

But overall awesome song, and very well sung

Personally loved Merehumsafar compared to this one, and coming to this round, loved both shreyas and sunidhis, and think this song was inbetween sunidhi and shreya,

either or between 8and 9 for me

Soul-stirringly well sung! For once I have no complaints about Alkaji's high notes.

The song does not have a simple tune at all and to carry it off soo well, with expression and variations is just too good.

This performance has overwhelmed and it has reached the 'ten point benchmark' of my scale. In the first round of this competition I said that I would give a ten to a performance of the calibre of Lataji in Lekin or Ashaji in Umrao Jaan. And this song has come as close to Lataji in Lekin as reasonably expected.

So 10/10 from me 😃
