I want to work with Salman Khan: Deepika Padukone

She began her Bollywood journey with Shah Rukh Khan in 'Om Shanti Om' but it is actor Salman Khan, who is on the wish list of Deepika Padukone.

"I am really looking forward to work with Salman," Deepika told PTI.

"In fact we were supposed to be paired up much earlier but then a couple of films didn't quite work out. That's sad but I am sure that in near future, we would be paired opposite each other," said the actress, who will next be seen with Farhan Akhtar in 'Karthik Calling Karthik'.

The 23-year-old has already worked with hotshots like Akshay Kumar 'Chandni Chowk To China' and Saif Ali Khan 'Love Aaj Kal' and will next be seen opposite Abhishek Bachchan, Imran Khan and Neil Nitin Mukesh in 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se', 'Break Ke Baad' and YRF's untitled film respectively.

I really hope they r paired in a film soon!

I'm pretty sure she's never said that and I have followed most of or all of her interviews. Even back when she came on Dus Ka Dum in 2008 she said she wants to work with him.

well then its good coz i read the article on this forum but thanks for clearing my doubt

Deepika always keep saying she wants to work with salman, hopefully her dream comes true and she works with sallu. I love to see them on screen, I think they'll look good together

i don't know if they would look good together, she seems too tall for him and he seems too old for her. But if she really wants to then hope her wish comes true!

when she came out to Dus ka dum with farah.... Salman was taller than her

I think Deepika is taller by a few inches.Coz when Deeps 1st came on DKD and she said that she wants to work with Salman.Salman told her that "Even I want to work with you but the problem is the height.So she said that "I am wearing heels now".
