Amrita Rao shocks: There is no harm in pre-marital Sex

Amrita Rao the vivacious beauty of Indian Cinema is trying hard to shed her girl next door image. The actress has not only gone for a different avatar but has opted for a modern thinking too.

Recently in an interview when she was asked about the pre-marital sex, her answer shocked everyone. "I don't think there is any harm in people getting physically close to each other in a relationship that too before marriage."

"If there is romance, there is bound to be some level of physical intimacy between the couple. As long as both the duo is comfortable it's no harm.

If it's their decision to take their rapport in that level with precautions then its fine, " she adds further.

It seems Amrita is quite desperate to get rid of her bhenji image.

The Shiv Sena is going to go after her a Tamil actress Khusboo got into deep trouble after saying same things too she was worshiped during her peak years but now there r cases on her n she even apologized in public .

people seriously need to get a life..it's is a persons own personal choice as to what they want to do. And I can assure you that all the members of the shiv sena probably engage in sexual acts with women other than their wives.

I know she's been actively trying to break out of the innocent heroine who dresses conservatively mould and that her attempts do come off as try-hard/"wannabe"-ish but her statement on premarital sex seems a rational one to make. I agree with her stand point -- there is absolutely nothing wrong with being physically intimate before marriage (if that is the couple's ultimate aim). The article, though, reeks of bias: "It seems Amrita is quite desperate to get rid of her bhenji image" - there's VERY little correlation between what she said and her apparent 'desperation' at trying to appear less 'bhenji'-esque. Just because someone dresses in a conservative manner does not automatically mean that they are conservative in their ideals.

^^ Absolutely agree. Had this been some other actress who had said this, we wouldn't have gotten the same reaction from some of the members here. This may very well seem odd coming from Amrita given her previous on/off screen image, but what she said isn't exactly so appalling. A lot of people feel that way.
