Ofcourse .. living in today's world .. most women will look at all that Prithvi said as chauvinism. Hell, in many cases .. even I do. But then, we also need to see the other side .. put ourselves in the other person's shoes and try seeing where they are coming from. For me .. I really can't see Prithvi as being very chauvinistic .. simply coz he's not from what we call 'the real world'! He lives in his own world .. and there is no harm in that. Point is .. just let him be .. and love him for who & what he is! Someday .. even Damini will love him .. despite all this, right?

If girls see Prithvi as chavinistic .. guys would most definitely see Damini as hot-blooded and arrogant .. and probably run in the opposite direction! 😆 Whereas, we girls love that .. and call it, being 'feminist'. Again .. matter of one's perception .. nothing more, nothing less!

This was today ... tmrw, he will tell her "Mujhe tumhari 'zaroorat hai'" 😉 😍 We need to start celebrating now ... coz the day is not too far! 😳

Edit: ok here i am again after finally watching today's episode....
ok as you said zain it all depends on perception and it surely does! the precap and the promo had made it seem that prithvi retorted at damini but actually prithvi was just so taken aback by what he had just heard from sameer and his decision to get married. i think it was still hard for him to digest this ...and plus his earlier confrontation with himself about forgetting the revenge was still fresh in his mind..and then when he saw that guy with damini..his frustration reached top of the world and he reacted impulsively. it clearly seemed like at that moment when he sees that guy with damini there was no revenge bhoot in him but indeed that was due to his emergent feelings of care (and possibly love) for damini and not damini gujral. it wasn't till damini pointed out that he was just a BG that his revenge mood shot back in. yeah i agree that he should not have taken out his rage on damini but at times it seems as of what else can he do?! he is the eldest of 3 brothers and now the head of the family and he is seeing how is family is suffering instead of living a normal life...what man won't be frustrated and angry at seeing this happening to his younger siblings?! yeah certainly not PB...he is a very straighforward and simple at heart man with loads of responsibilities ...some which could have been a father's responsibilities but since the dad's no more...he has to fulfill these duties as a father would ..as in sameer and varun's weddings. the tears in his eyes and his cry for help was so genuine and sad.
however, the interesting thing to look forward will be that is damini going to realize that she too went a lil overboard by showing him his place in this confrontation( she said something like "tum jahan se aate ho...")
wow this went over the limit...woooh..i can write whole pages and pages on prida ....lol ...totally love them!!!
btw GK and CS were amazing today too but most applause goes to GK for that converstation with sameer ...both GK and KT really do seem like older brother-younger brother duo...their chemistry is just too genuine and amazing!!!
and now it will be really interesting to see how prithvi confronts sameer tomorrow !! he looked raging mad at him!!

great post Zainab but here is my 2cents....basically this is what I saw today.........two people who are hurt and confused and they both reacted with an outburst saying stuff that they will regret later..

For me, the entire scene of Friday and today just meant one thing. Both of them are fighting off their feelings for each other. And they are fighting each other. How else can you explain that stupid war of words? I was thinking oh great - first date and first dance and first fight.... all in a matter of minutes...... thats PriDa for us.

When you cannot control things and when things dont go according to plan and when life seems so unfair, you tend to make mountains out of molehills. Thats what these two are doing. And you dont play nice and fair when you are not in ur right frame of mind............... Pri has revenge on his mind and Da has rejection on her mind (not exactly rejection - but it was not nice of Pri to just walk off from her after the dance)

I am waiting for them to cool down and realise what they said to each other. That will be an awesome scene to watch. I hope I made some sense here.

@ Krups...Yep I totally second you on where PB is coming from..he is a father figure..he feels responsible..and then he switches dangerously between revenge and love...and there is bound to be a lot of frustration..and a lot of uncalled stuff..but hey that is what PriDa is for us..and yes I entirely respect your opinion...as you said..everyone looks through a different pair of eyes and that is what makes us human...

End of the day..I love them both and that is what makes them worthy of such long posts..
