Omkara did not have a kissing scene! It was a BRILLIANT film. This film is about terrorism and it is starting to seem that they won't be able to justify with the topic the film is dealing with. Where does the kissing scenes fit in? This film is just trying to cash in on the Saif-Kareena relationship.

See its the media that's intrigued by such scenes nad picks up on them. Like the kiss between hrithik and barbara, and D2 kiss between ash and hrithik. They get hold of some scene in a movie nad then blow it outa proportion. On the Kurbaan FB group, one of hte crew members says its annoying that this is the only thing the media is talkign about when ti comes to kurbaan, but then its understandable coz everything else about the movie is kept so tightly underwraps.

Rensil said the movie has a very powerful theme, and this scene is just something that was crucial in the screenplay, and it was an aesthetic expeirence, and he hopes the audience treats it that way.

Just like in OMkara, as long as the scenes are shot well and connect to the storyline, its fine

honestly people always can make me laugh, so Saif is the only actor that is kissing and touching the actress, is other actor in bollywood film are not touching the actress at all....or is it that an actor cant kiss the actress but can touch her any other place lol or maybe u cant kiss but u can hug the actress lol n i better not go to the bikini part n the exposure of bollywood talented actress n not talented actress in films............... n i thought Saif-kareena is husband n wife in this film, so i get if they want to do a bed scene or kiss scene unless it says that terrorist dont marry or dont kiss the wife then i understand it will have nothing to do with the film

That's another thing I wanted to say.
Kurbaan focuses on the relationship between saif and kareena (who are a married couple) and what it goes through in the midst of that violent backdrop. So perhaps intimacy was needed to be shown.

Its an emotional journey, and its not just saif, but kareena who also has a very powerful role.

Like I said earlier I don't have a problem with kissing scenes per se. But it is naive to think that the production house or publicity teams have no control over what part of their movie gets publicized. So who leaked the news initially? It has to be someone from their team right.

Now it has been picked up by the media. With a film like Dhoom what else of substance did they really have? They had to promote the movie with the kiss and Bipasha's bikini, because apart from that there was nothing else to the movie. One would hope Qurbaan has more substance than that and so it would not need this kind of publicity.

And for all those saying that Saif is going around kissing all actresses. Come on what about Ranbir in BAH (and there is also one in Wake Up Sid) or Akki in KI. Didn't Shahid have kissing scenes in JWM and Kaminey. These scenes are actually written by the director right? So lets go after Vishal Bharadwaj, Imtiaz Ali, Siddharth Anand and Sabbir Khan.

Love Aaj Kal is a film about romantic relationships. If they are not shown kissing what would you want it replaced with?

But at hte same time, Rensil told me that the story of the movie and basic plot has been kept so tightly under wraps, that there's nothing else for the media to talk about concerning Kurbaan at the moment.
I dunno which crew member initially leaked out the scene, but I can bet it wasnt Rensil.
How I can put my word in for rensil is this...when Kurbaan was halfway done (as in shooting wise), I asked Rensil why he's nto releasing some official on the set pics like other Dharma productions. Why isnt there any news about the film, why doenst he answer all the queries about its similarities with New York.
He said,
A) He will worry about promotions and awareness once he knows for certain that he has a rock solid product in his hand. He said that for him, that's more important. He said if it were up to him, he wouldnt start promoting till a week or two before release (crazy! Thank god Karan's in charge of that aspect, lol)
B) Concerning the media, he said they are purposely spreading these stories about similarities between NY and Kurbaan so that he or the makers of Kurbaan react and give out interviews, but he says he doesnt wanna talk at all about Kurbaan.

I'm sure someone who was working on the sets or the unit that day spread the story. There were other stories as well, about saif and kareena having done a kiss shot, and how ti took em 5 shots to get it right. But I'm thinking that's partially because that's THE ONLY info about Kurbaan taht's out. None of the actors involved can say anything. Even Kiron Kher mentioned her role in KI but said that she can just say she's in Kurbaan, but cant say anything about it coz she's signed a confidentiality agreement.
When there's no other info on the movie, you latch onto whatever info is leaked out. Perhaps its someone on teh Dharma team, but its definitely not what Rensil wants.

This has been brought up long before the movie is released to boost the publicity and to make the people go and see the movie to watch how Saif Kareena being Boyfriend/Girlfriend do these scenes !! Thats why it has been said for sex starved audience !! Hahaha really are we sex starved !! This is for free promo and advertising to attract the audience to the cinema !! I agree many actors have kissed the actresses in the movies before but the same thing happened there bring this up before the movie is released and make it into sex starving audience attraction !! In KI it was also going on that Akki kissed Kareena 10 times or show Saif kiss Deepika in LAK nothing else but just the kissing !! Wah kiya baat hai !! 🤣

Saif going crazy for Kareena and gets a tatoo? He doesnt do decent roles like he once used to. His films were appropriate for families once upon a time. Now, he just kisses too much or tries way too much to appear 'cool' in his films. As much as I like him, I just dont think he's the Saif that I once really loved.

and kareena. Gosh, what has happened to her? She just seems too slutty to me these days. Always kissing onscreen, exposing way too much in her films, doing pathetic roles, and now this bed scene with Saif.

Both of them arent the same anymore. Dont like this couple and surely not looking forward to this film. if anything, I'd like to see how Vivek does, he's a great actor, so might just see if for him.
