These past couple of weeks, i am really loving Damini more and more:
She is smart, intelligent and strong. Okay maybe she really needs to work on her people skills a bit and probably has issues when it comes to men, but hey nobody is perfect.š
I admit i missed the initial couple of weeks of her bossing around everyone, but since i started watching i find that (i may be wrong here) it mostly happens when it comes to men working for her.
She was perfectly sweet and cordial to the sales girl during that shopping scene. I couldnt see a trace of snobbishness in her when she was interacting with the girl attending her. She was quite friendly, so maybe when it comes to men dimaag thoda tedha ho jaata hai, lol.
I also love the subtle change in equation she and prithvi are experiencing from wishing he goes to hell to i hope he is not too much hurt thing.
Also she is pretty honest when it comes to her feelings. She had no qualms in admitting to avni that she is not too happy with the way inder is handling their relationship in recent times and even in yesterday's episode in the car even she is confused by her change in feelings towards prithvi.
When she does get into trouble, she never plays the damsel in distress card and prefers to handle things herself and does not go running straight to someone else's arms (read prithvi), though she is developing the adorable tendency of falling into his armsš
From the precap it is obvious that Inder tries to misbehave with herš”, purely based on the precap i assume, she did not call for anyone's help (no bachao or help type shouting), but was able to tackle him herself . (I do hope she gets to punch him where it would hurt the most to teach this guy a lesson.š”)
After that she is upset and sits alone trying to think things over and this is where prithvi's dialogue that he understands she does not need his help but he will be there to support when she needs it assumes significance.
Maybe i am reading too much into this, but for me it shows the growing respect prithvi is developing for damini as he recognizes that she is not like any other girl or woman he might have met so far in his life.
So for future, i hope all or some of it happens:
1. She gives an ultimatum of sorts to Inder to get his act together or else she will call off the engagement.
2. She actually calls off the engagement and if Inder tries to create trouble, she handles that strongly too alone including punching him really hard( okay i so want to see inder beaten up for the stuff he tried to pull on damini).
3. She and prithvi develop of sort of mutual respect cum cordial friendship towards each other as a beginning.
4. She saves prithvi atleast once, a role reversal for a changeš
5. She and prithvi subsequently work together to solve this murder mystery.
6. Later and much later do the whole process of falling in love does take place.
Right now the creatives should just show us that they are beginning to care for each other and do not rush the love track.
And keep the essence of Damini intact..
