Kismat Connection may end...

Sahara One has treaded on the path to recovery. We had reported on the channel coming up with two new shows – Creative Eye's Ganesh Leela and Anubhav Sinha's untitled daily. The former is set go on air soon and thus the question begs which show will make its way for Ganesh Leela.

In our earlier report, we had quoted a source who mentioned that barring Woh rehne wali mehlon ki and Mata ki chowki, all other shows were under the scanner. The buzz now goes that the axe will now fall on Aroona Irani's show Doli Saja ke. Well, Sagar Arts Kismat Konnection (earlier Jo ishq ki marzi; woh rab ki marzi) too could face the axe.

Aroona Irani though scoffed at these speculations saying, "You're the first one to have told me. The channel hasn't communicated anything to us. Our contract runs up to November, so I don't expect any change to it."

Lead actress Barkha Bisht claimed ignorance to any such news about her show.

A source close to the channel says, "At the moment, nothing has been decided on which show to axe. What needs to be looked into is the tenure of the show and whether it can be revived by new tracks. Ganesh Leela will launch in mid August. One show will definitely be discontinued. A decision is expected in the coming weeks."

Meanwhile, an actor from Kismat Konnection says, "We've been hearing that it could be Doli Saja Ke or our show. Despite, the reincarnation track, things haven't worked so well for us."

We tried contacting Sahara One creative director Mushtaq Sheikh and even sent him a text message but he didn't reply. Sagar Arts' Anand Sagar too didn't respond to our text message.
