Juhi Parmar's long running serial 'Kumkum-Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan' is all set to go off air from next month. Star Plus channel, on which the show has been running for almost seven years, has told the producer BAG films to wrap up the show latest by March 13.

Now, the producer is busy in giving the show a neat and logical ending. Sources say that this decision from the channel seems to have come in the wake of its leading lady Juhi Parmar getting married and expressing her views against continuing on the show. Juhi has been playing the protagonist Kumkum since the beginning of the show around seven years back.

However, the main reason behind the decision seems to be falling TRP of the show after Juhi got married. Now, the channel wants to try something new and different to woo the viewers back.

It may be recalled that recently Star Plus pulled out several popular serials due to falling TRPs. Some of them were biggies like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay' and 'Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki'. All of them had big TV stars like Smriti Irani, Sakshi Tanwar and Shweta Tiwari.

nice to see mdia giving full credit to ju for the rise and fall fo kk, she surely was the soul of the show. but its suprising that when it came to awrads and nomaintions she was ignored. ju slogged all the time and was ignored.

ITA 2005 she was nomainted for best actress fo kk for the first time and she bagged the award for critics best actress, but after that in 2006 no nomination for kk in ITA's, 2007 she was nomainted in one award ITA and in 2008 she got nomainted in the comic category for kk msihra. Apart from these few nomaintions, ju didint get any otehr nomiantions for kk. .

So i guess kk ended on the right time.

I rem when dhr chaarcter in sindoor was killed off, zee tv was bombared by fan mails who all wanted sahcin back in the show.

Nice to see both jusahcin get so much limelight for the repective shows kk and sindoor

inshallah woudl like to see Sachin win best actor too

annie dear kk 2 would be most welcome if they come up with a soild concept, like ju said in her intv recently tv has changed nowdays. They need to make shows which work well with the masses

surakshita apna sahcin is an allrounder just like ju, he handles business as well as his acting profession. He is s super dancer too.

yeah sony are having thsoe special epsiodes, it woiuld be ncie to see jusahcin there for sure. Would love to see jusachin as doctor patient, Sahcin as doc and ju as a patient. They can have a suspence element to it also.

finally managed to watch cmbm entire episode now,. was a rocking episode. Saddest part was the elimination., l always it feels very bad to see the contestants get eliminated

well said by ju kapil that achi casting makes the film story better. agreed with the eg's both gave

ju was so funny when the kid out the gun on her after she came to prasie they act. hahaha

aimen i agree with you that one should loose weight gradually and ju is doing that. ju was in perfect shape on jusachin wedding and engagement
