Part 8

"Riddhima, I'm truly sorry I didn't mean it, I was just trying to have so fun, come on Riddhima don't get all pissed off at me"

Armaan tired to convince Riddhima, but she was not going to budge, she knew what Armaan did was wrong, and was not going to forgive him so easily.

As Armaan tried to talk to her, as they were on their way to shop still, he thought maybe he will do apologize later.

"Riddhima, please paan jao na"

Riddhima turned around the other way.

"Yeh Riddhima be na" Muskaan said, after tring to deal with her.

The rest of the car ride was pretty quite. No one said anything to anyone.

As Armaan parked the car, they all got out.

They walked down the road, and the first thing they saw was the jewelers.

"RIDDHIMA, DHEK VAHAN!" Muskaan shouted!

"Muskaan , tu chaala kyun rahe hai" Riddhima said trying to calm her down.

"Hain toh, dhek tu hamesha kehti thi, ki tum shaadi se pehle apni nose pierce karni chahti ti , right" Muskaan said.

"Haan, par abhi.."

"Riddhima tumhare shaadi horiye hai na, toh phir" Muskaan protested.

"Haan, par mein nahin janti agar ki agar unhe pasand aygay…"

"Okay, toh tu apne husband ki saat karna chati hai kya" Muskaan said teasing.

Riddhima started blushing, and gave a vague smile.

Armaan was overhearing all of this, and was confused and shocked.

"Riddhima, if you want to get your nose pierced then get it now, your not going to have time when Harshad come, everyones going to be busy with the preparations. " Armaan said.

"Acha, theek hai, par please mujhe bata dene agar mein achi nahin lagti is mein" Riddhima said now kind of scared of the thought of getting her nose pierced.

"Wow. I don't understand why you girls like getting your nose pierced, it doesn't make you look any better, or any different, or yea" As Armaan said, after running out of reasons.

"Armaan, you won't understand!" Muskaan said.

"Really, do you mind explaining Muuussssskk-iiiii baby" Armaan said flirting with her.

"Oh please" She said giving a disgusted look.

"Just watch, now and see, how gorgeous Riddhima will look" Muskaan said standing up for her friend.

As they entered the shop, they went straight to the section where she was going to get it.

"Namaste ji, meri friend yahan, (pointing to Riddhima), wants her nose pierced."

"Acha, theek hai ji, ape abhi yahan bhetyie, mein abhi aiye" the lady said.

Riddhima started getting a little jumpy.

"Riddhima, tum aise kyun ho rahhi ho?" Muskaan asked.

"Mujhe, tohra sa daar lagra hai" Riddhima said a bit shaken.

As they kept talking, Riddhima's eyes caught where Armaan was. He was holding a beautiful diamond ring. As she got up and went towards him, mesmerized by the ring.

" Wow, Armaan it's gorgeous. It would look beautiful on any girls fingers." Riddhima said, looking at the beauty of the ring.

"Toh fir ye lao" Armaan said.

He placed the ring on Riddhima's ring finger.

The sudden action that took place, caught both of them by surprise. Did Armaan just put the ring on Riddhima's finger? Both out of shock just stood their, staring at each other. What did this mean, all these questions were going through minds at the moment. As the stance was broken by the employee.

"Kya mein yeh ring pack kardu, apke haath pe both ache lagraha hai" the employee said.

Riddhima gave a nave smile, and took off the ring.

"Nahin, hum aise hi dekh raha te" Riddhima said, and turned to go back to where Muskaan was.

"No, I will be getting this ring" Armaan said.

As Riddhima heard this, she turned around quickly. With a questionable expression on her face.

"Armaan, tum yeh kyun…" Riddhima asked.

"This is for my one" Armaan said, taking out his credit card from his wallet.

"Oh, acha" Riddhima said, and slowly turned around, now curios, who is this "one", who is she. And, why hasn't Armaan ever told her about them, it…her?

"Oh, by the way, Ms. Riddhima Guuupppptaaaaa, thought you were mad at me, so what happened?" Armaan said, as he came up to Riddhima and Muskaan.

"Well I still am" She said turning around, with her arms crossed.

"Then, what was that" Armaan questioned. As all the fresh memories rushed back into their minds.

"I was admiring the ring" Riddhima said quickly

"The ring, or me" Armaan said teasingly.

"ARMAAN!" Riddhima screamed!

"RIDDHIMA GUPPPTAAA!"

"ARMAAANN MALIK" copying the way he said her name.

"RIDDDHHIMMMAAA GUPTAAAA!"

"ARMAAAN MALIKK!!"

"RIDDDHIMMMMAAA GUPTAA!, wait I was wrong the whole time I mean RIDDHIMAA DATTA!!" Armaan said, but stopped at once, and he saw Riddhima's expression change from anger to an overshadow of sadness, and worry.

"Riddhima I'm sorry I didn't mean it to come out that way… I was just…" Armaan tried to cover up.

"Don't worry Armaan, I can except the truth." As she sadly turned around.

"Wow Armaan you're an complete idiot, what was the point of saying that. You know you should never hurt a women like that. Don't play with her feelings. " Armaan said to himself, but when suddenly old memories came back to him. Of what had happened before, in America. He tried to shake away the memories.

"Hey, Riddhima but you forgave me right?" Armaan said trying to change the subject.

"We'll see" She said with a smile on her face.

"Okay, you ready?" the lady their said.

She brought out a huge nose piercing machine thingy, well atleast that what Riddhima thought it was.

"Okay, we're basically going to punch this into your nose, it will hurt for a second, and then the pain will go away. It will feel numb for a couple of days, but no need to worry" The women said.

Riddhima was ten times more scared then she was before. Now, she really was having seconds thoughts of this.

"Okay come stand here" the lady said.

As Riddhima went up, she noticed Muskaan nor Armaan were with her.

"Guys, can you please come stand next to me. I'll feel more comfortable" Riddhima said, with her shaken voice.

"Okay, I will count to 3 and then I will punch it in."

"1,2,..3"

The punch went straight through Riddhima's nose. As that sounds happened, she suddenly grabbed on to Armaan arm.

She couldn't bear the pain, and was nails were going right through Armaan arm.

As soon as she grabbed on to Armaan arm's she felt better. She felt her pain going away. Like he was there to protect her.

Now she had little tears trickling down her face.

"Riddhima, tum theek ho" Muskaan said.

"Wow, I can't believe I just did that" Riddhima said as she finally opened her eyes.

"Riddhima, how was that, you okay?" Armaan said very cutely.

As she let go of Armaan arm slowly, she looked up at him, and saw him staring at her with all the support in the world. And this was as little as a nose piercing.

As Riddhima went and looked in the mirror, she thought she looked pretty good. She has stopped crying but, her eyes and nose both were a little numb.

As she turned around slowly for Armaan and Muskaan's opnion.

"So, guys how does it look?" Riddhima asked.

"Wow, Riddhima you look beautifully, especially that diamond stud in your nose looks so gorgeous!" Muskaan said excited.

"Toh, Armaan you agree right, Riddhima looks amazing with her nose pierced?" Muskaan said.

"Yeah, totally agree, you look really good Riddhima" Armaan said with a full hearted smile.

As Riddhima smiled back and turned around again to the mirror.
