Are the Americans scared of taliban?

The American secretary for Pakistan Holbroke visited this country and after his visit the Pakistani president implemented the sharia law in the swat area. He then extended his visit to India and made a statement that taliban is dangerous for Pakistan, Afganistan, India and the US. Why India? India has nothing to do with the taliban. Yes India has problems with the terrorists groups of Pakistan which are nothing near to the taliban who are still living the 18th or the 19th century. They implement their own laws which have nothing in common with the democracy of Pakistan. Well coming back to the Americans they are the one who are responsible for the creation of the taliban group during the Russian invasion of Afganistan. Taliban is their "frankeinstien". Now they are too scared of this creation of theirs. Asking India to get involved in this matter is not a correct. When Indian politicians were shouting at their peek during the 9/11 attacks, and the Parliament attact, Americans gave a hoot. Now that they see that they are losing a war in Afganistan after 8 long years and see not end to it, they want India to get involved. They may end up turning their area (subcontinent including India Pakistan and Afganistan) in another middleeast . I think it is better for India to sit back right now and watch what is happenning in Pakistan. Pakistan if it continues to be dominated by the taliban may soon disintegrate. If things are to be taken seriously, the Pakistani President and the Prime Minister should seek help from India and come out with full cooperation in connection with the Mumbai attacks and punish the guilty as soon as possible. The Americans, if they want must admit defeat and let India and Pakistan act collectively against any terrorist group in this area.

The acceptance of the sharia law is a serious matter and should not be ignored by the people of Pakistan in particular. If the taliban keeps on increasing its influence it will surely takeover Pakistan in a couple of years and India cannot afford to have a backward country as its neighbour.

We need religion but Its difficult to follow when it became a Law....!

Taliban is a terrorist organisation.IF you want to be ruled by THIER laws (its their laws...cause they interpret islam to suit their own fancies...)

whts wrong with that! the earth is created by God so why not rule by His Final Book (Quran).

(Earth is created by god but holy books are wirtten by men from Bhagwad gita to the Bible...and their interpretation differs fom place to place.....all these interpretation are totally fine as lone as they fall under the framewok of humanity....Taliban's islamic law is not acceptable cause it enfringes the rights of women...)

well, if u dont believe in God or Book, then thats a different thing.( According to the Taliban....if you dont believe in god or their holy books...they prosecute you and hang you in public....what sort of law is that?)

during taliban rule, there were hardly any serious crime like murder or rape. i even heard that ppl can leave their shops without locks @ night.

(yeah maybe life for men was rocking....but women...not allowed to go to school...always had to be accompanied by a man...music and television was banned...)

but i hope that they dont go too extreme as Islam is a moderate religion.

regarding taliban terrorism, i think its just media game...to undermine the Islamic cause.

until muslims obey God, its difficult to become strong and get away of USA/israel frm palestine, iraq, etc.

Why is the US your enemy....rather than getting strong and fighting so called enemies...lets fight Real enemies like poverty terrorism !!God wont help no matter how much you pray unless you learn to help yourselves and in such a way that you dont harm anyone else.

Americans are scared of taliban ?...who knows...If American forces can caputre Saddam Hussian then why cant they capture Osama...or they dont want to...im confused......Taliban are against humanity especially women they dont allow them to go to school and they are not even given proper medical treatment . Who wants Taliban as a neighbour .
