February 2nd - Indian Highlights

Recap:
The family throws a party because Vansh has returned.
There is dancing, and drinking at the party - and Vansh tries to make Vaishnavi drink and dance.
Vaishnavi stands up to the family, and says that the house is a mandir and they cannot do all of this in front of Matarani.

Vaishnavi is crying in her room and she goes to MR's murti in her room - she says why is her family acting like this?
Vaishnavi says that she did so much not to lose her husband, but she doesn't know how they could do this.
Vaishnavi says she feels that she was at fault for not recognizing her family for what they really are.
Vaishnavi asks MR for forgiveness, and she is so ashamed - her own husband is acting like this.

Vansh comes drunk and knocks at the door.
He starts to get more and more upset because she won't open the door.
He falls down because he is drunk and she goes to open the door, but then stops herself remembering Vansh trying to make her drink and dance.
She says she will not open the door - if he has fallen, then he has to pick himself up - he has fallen in her eyes.
He gets mad and bangs the door.
Sanyukta comes drunk too and make a big deal - she says that Vaishnavi is always talking about being a good wife, and how can she leave her husband like this.
Sanyukta says that she is a fraud. Vansh agrees with her, and then Sanyukta says that it's a good thing that Vansh saw this now.
Sanyukta takes Vansh away.

Vaishnavi says to MR that she doesn't understand - why is the only thing she ever wanted, has done this - how come she never saw them doing all of these things before?
How could they break her trust.
Madhura comes and knocks on the door.
Vaishnavi says that as long as there is a party at home, she is not coming out.
Madhura says the party is over, and her father has been waiting for her - Vaishnavi runs out of her room, and goes to see SK.
She sees her father and SK drinking and eating.
Her father gives a big stack of money - they are playing cards and gambling.
Her father is saying he is gambling with the money that was given in donation.
SK says he gives so many donation, and Vaishnavi's father says he was gambling it all away.
They see Vaishnavi - and her father goes to her drunk. Vaishnavi can smell the alcohol on his breath - she asks him to stay away.
She says that today the one who taught everyone to stay away from alcolhol and gambling is doing this today - this cannot be her father.
Her father says the way he thinks has changed - that money is the real way in life.
He says that he wasted time with MR - he wants his share now.
Now he only understands the language of money.
SK says that she should join them now and forget about MR. She hears them all telling her to join them.

She runs to MR's murti.
She says she cannot understand anything - what has happened to everyone.
She is willing to give everyone up including Vansh - they are doing wrong.
MR appears before her and says what is happening to her - she finally got her full family, and now she wants to be away from them.
She says she wanted to see her family happy and now they are.
Vaishnavi says if MR is happy with what is going on here - she says that if her believers are happy then she is happy.
She says that people like SK and Vidhya Saagar spread her name and make her famous - that's all she wants.
Vaishnavi says that she cannot believe that MR is saying this - and MR says that she knows what she is saying.
MR says to listen to her, and to join her family - in order to live, there is only one way to live, and she wants her daughter to live this way.
Vaishnavi says that she now will seperate herself from MR today - she is not her mother from today onwards, and Vaishnavi is not her daughter.

Comments: I am sure in the next episode, Yamraj will come there again and say that it was a test - there is no way that MR would say this to Vaishnavi or that her family will act this way.
They were just scolding Vansh and Moksh for drinking, and it's impossible that they would do this.
I am getting a bit tired of these tests - and just want the storyline to keep moving already!
