The first Batman film to not have Batman in the title, but nevertheless The Dark Knight is the most powerful superhero movie to have ever come from Hollywood. Christian Bale is superb but it is late actor Heath Ledger who takes the cake in the role of Joker.

This film had something than any Indian woman would love to possess - American diamonds. Two groups wanting to get hold of a diamond collection and constantly attempting to outdo the other. Interesting watch!
Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai

A simple love-story well told, Rakesh Roshan did not make big shakes while launching son Hrithik in Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. The sincerity of the story with Hrithik Roshan's stunning performance in a dual role simply made him one of the most sensational debuts of the decade.

Rang De Basanti did what the 3 Bhagat Singh films could not do - connect with the present day youth. This crash course in history episodes was very smartly written flashing back and forth in time and drawing parallels between the pre-independence era and the current corrupt political scenario in India. The performances were perfect and the direction was effective. This Aamir Khan film gave equal opportunity to every other member in its huge cast.
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

Aditya Chopra directorial debut DDLJ happens to be one of the most legendary love stories spread across Swiss Alps to Punjab's sarson da khet. The Shah Rukh - Kajol duo display one of the best screen chemistry in Hindi cinema. With lilting music and great performances, the film is a must-watch.
