PRIYANKA all the way.........her role was CHALLENGING>.......and NO best actress is not determined by the box office verdict, if that was the case i don't thik Rani would've won for BLACK, it was only a critically acclaimed movie, not a box office success....

Its a close call btw Ash n Priyanka......any of dem wins i'll be happy coz i like both....its just dat JA was my kind ov movie wid da hero heroin together....n in fashion dere was no one wid priyanks(i still luved fashion)....but as far as the best actress award goes it has to be ash or priyanka....if anyone else gets it....den its going to b unfair

if ashwarya wins i would certainly stop believing in these awards ,shez nominated dats more dan enough for a performance like she gave in JA...no offence to any of her fans,i think if dese awards truly judge da acting dey shuld definately pick either genelia or priyanka..agreed dat she is doing a pivotal role after ages but her acting compared wid other lead actresses of dis year is also quite good n much better...she is not a good actress GENERALLY, i think v have noticed dis through her performances in most of da movies but she surprisingly acted fabulously in fashion coz she is a director's actress n wid a director like madhur she was able to deliver a flawless performance...but dat doesnot mean she is always a gud actress may be she turns out doing over acting again in dostana..but her performance in fashion is far higher dan ash's performance in JA..but plz dis doesnot mean im calling her a better actress dan ash..but for sure her performance in fashion is far higher n more deserving of an award dan ash's in JA...

it should be Priyanka for Fashion..but let's see, year is not over yet...two leadin ladies Asin in ghajini and Anuska in RNBDJ are coming so..!

It will be injustice if Priyanka doesnt win! She was brilliant.

definitly Kajol her acting was awosme you might need to watch it again to notice the scence with the needle wow. i see lots have choosen priyanka chopra maybe she did do a good job but i havent watched fashion yet anyways so for now kajol.

though i really really HATE Priyanka,,

but after watching Fashion, i think she deserves the BEST actress award.
she really does,,,,,,,, she did an OUTSTANDING ACTING.
