Welcome Friends

Last month we celebrated or observed ramadan then Eid this month and Navratri Dussera and now diwali is coming up. So should we say this as month of celebrations.
Now let us see how we fare in our knowledge about holidays. all you have to do is associate the things with holidays. In other words associate a holiday in the right with a thing or phrase on the left.

Example
Navaratri dandia

Match Holidays with Things Associated

Diwali kite flying fetival
Utrayan moon
Navaratri festival of lights
Sharad poonam fasting for this holy month
EID tajia
Muhram new years of Parsi
Ramadan full moon day
Nauroz stocking hung by chimney, trees decorated with lights
Christmas delivers gift
Santa Claus jewish holiday
Chanukah women fast for wellbeing of their spouse
Baisakhi 4 days harvest festival
Pongal victory of good over evil
Karva chauth punjabi holiday
Dusshera Garba
Since this is very simple contest I am looking forward to tonnes of entries and winners. Send your entries to "crazycreative" by October 31st. subject "Holiday Knowledge"

What is tajia????, which is written beside Eid, some of them I didn't get the meaning of it!!!!!!!!!!.....

it is no mistake dear. they are deliberately arranged wrong you have to match the right thing with holiday. Take a help of goggle chacha. if you can't find then pm me.
