Shiv ki Gauri

 

Concept: Shiv makes a promise to his critically ill farther mehen, a promise that can save his farthers life and rectify his own mistake, a mistake which was unknown to himself. For his farther he makes a promise which as time passes becomes his life.

 

Characters

Shiv Kapoor : Son of Mehen Kapoor and inheritor of the Kapoor empire,  Shiv Kapoor a  young handsome business man who girls dye to be with. His personality symbolises power and stature in the industrial world and also within his family. Along with his power also comes a uncontrollable temper but all this is over looked by a thoughtful, Caring and cheeky side of Shiv.

Samar kapoor: AlsoSon of Mehen Kapoor although samar and shiv are twin brother's samar's life experience have changed his personality. Samar has a rugged personality and appearance he is a very up right man and keeps him self to him self away from the family, his sorrows have lead him to take up the aid of alcohol.

Kaya Samar Kapoor:  Wife of samar kapoor, kaya no longer lives with her husband but she has retained her relationship with the rest of the kapoor family.

Gauri chaterjee: Daughter of Alok chattejee the local mandir pujari. Gauri 25 years old has a very simple innocent personality; she is quite and enjoys the little things in her life. Being a pujari's daughter gauri is very spiritual and cultured and spends most of her time at the mandir and has traditional talents of classical dancing and singing. She is a deep believer in god and has all her faith in her shiv ji and happily accepts changes in her life as her destiny.

Mehen kapoor: Mehen Kapoor has a very strong personality; he is a loving father to his children.Once a business tycoon like his farther has now retried and is enjoying the finer things in life like spending time with his family.

Alok chatterjee: Old friend of Mehen Kapoor and farther to Gauri. Alok is a pujari, (priest) of the local mandir. He has a very loving personality and dearly cares for his daughter. He has given Gauri very trational and spiritual values which he is proud of and would do anything for his daughter's happiness.

Dr Pateek Roy: Prateek is Shiv's friend, who has known Shiv for years and also a leading doctor and psychologist.  He is always around to help Shiv out. Prateek himself has a very pleasant and optimistic and sensible personality.

Amarnath kapoor (dada): Amar nath kapoor or dadji is the founder of kapoor industries, he has created kapoor industries and is responsible for the strong foundation which makes up not just the kapoor empire but also the family. Dadaji is very light hearted and does not miss a chance to demonstrate his humour skills.

Krishna A kapoor (dadi): Krishna dadi very much like the dada in her personality, she Is the one person who keeps the family tightly bonded together with her motherliness.

Hey guys I read some of your fan fiction posts and loved them, so I thought I would have a go at my own. Here's the concept and character list…let me know what you think.

Shiv ki Gauri

Chapter 1

 

7 am in the kapoor mansion mandir, dadi is carrying out her morning puja. Stood in front of Ganpati ji in a vibrant pink sari goongat and arti thali , reciting her mantras in accordance with her daily ritual.

 

When she hears laughter and crunching,noises like somebody eating  coming from behind her and stops part way through her mantra, turns around to find her husband cheekily hiding a ladoo's under shirt.

 

Dadi:Hmmmmm toe  aap hai, muje samaj jana tha..itne salon ke baad bhi apni  harkat …bilkul bacho jaise!  She takes the meethai from dadaji.

 

Dadaji: Kya aap bhi  Krishna ji… bhagvan ka Prasad toe khana chayey na..

 

Dadi: Nahi….aapko meetha khana mana hai…yaad hai prateek ne apse kya kha tha..no sugar

 

 Just like any other gran Krishna amaranth kapoor is loving caring and motherly…sometime's too much which dadaji gets a bit annoyed  at... dadaji stands and admires his wife with a smile. Which dadi then completey ignores she walks away with the plate of Prasad and on her way calls for everyone in the house …"shiv! Shiv! beta…!  Kha ho tum yey Prasad aur arti!!!!!

 

We see footsteps walking down the central stair case of the kapoor house. Black, finely polished shoes heading down the stairs, a deep blue suit and complementary shirt and tie. A man with a flair, style and authority with accompanying good looks, gave a beaming smile as he walked down the stairs, one hand in his trouser pocket and with the other blew a kiss to his so called first love otherwise known as dadi.  Shiv Kapoor had made his morning entrance.  Walking towards dadi "You are looking stunning dadi and gave a cheeky smile. Dadi: "Thank you at least hume koi to complement karta hai.."and with this statement she gave dadji a disappointed look.

Whilst Dadaji gave his daily babble on how he was much more handsome and deadly attractive in comparison to his grandson shiv took their blessings the arti and his share of the Prasad. Shiv interputted dada dadi's qwarell still which was still unbelievably based on the topic of who's more hansome..

 

Shiv:"Dadaji ab dad kaise hai, une medicences toe kha leiye naa?"

 

Dadaji: hah beta Mehen toe ab theek hai…woh tumse milna chata tha

 

Shiv: ok mein mil ke ata hoon

 

Shiv makes his way to Mehen's bedroom, opens the door to see his farther lying in bed with a book which he is very much focused on. A business mans world by S.D Gupta. Trying not to make any sudden noises walks into the room and closes the door behind him. He looks around the room to see it piled with office files and bottles of medication. In the corner of the room sits a nurse who looks jaded in her own thoughts. Soon as she hears shiv enter the room she stands up. Shiv sits down on a chair which is propped up close to the bed.

Shiv: Good morning dad…dadaji ne kaha aap mujse koi baat karna chahte hai.

 

At the sound of Shiv's voice Mehen puts down his book and gives an instant smile.

Mehen: Shiv beta good morning. You could see how much mehen loved shiv, the slightest inkling of shiv made him happy. However Shiv did since that there was something not quite right Mehen did not look Shiv in the face while talking to him and this portrayed a slight antagonism towards Shiv. Mehen although weak and frail in response to his illness he still had his upbeat and intelligent personality and not to mention the framework of a business tycoon. Shiv had inherited all these qualities from his farther along with his father's good looks.

 

Mehen: "ha mein tumse kuch baat karna chahta hoon" and with that the smile on his face faded and a more worried and serious look became prominent. Shiv knew his farther well and that face meant it was something serious. With this very thought shiv asked the nurse to leave the room.

 

Shiv: Aap mujse naraz hai dad ?

 

There was a pause, Mehen did not answer which gave Shiv the confirmation of the fact that his dad was upset with him.

 

Shiv: Ab khaye dad…kya important baat thi

 

After a slight hesitation mehen began,

Mehen: woh gauri…jo yaha pein kaam karti thi, mere dost alok ki behti 

Use kein saath jo hua,… mehen paused and gave a dreaded look

Mein chata hoon ke tum use shaadi karlo…

 

Shiv was shocked not to mention confused who was his dad talking about, Gauri?? Who Gauri

 

Mehen: Dekho galti sudarni hogi..muje vada karo ke tum use shaadi karoge

 

With that mehen looked in pain he rubbed his chest while he spoke

Shiv could see that his farther was in pain, he called for the nurse

 

"Nurse!!!, Nurse!!!!" The nurse runs in and prepares a recovery injection

 Dekho dad take it easy, relax aap ko kuch nahi hoga"

Mehen: "mujse vada karo shiv!"

Shiv: "teek hai vada dad, I promise"

 

With that the pain on Mehen's face relaxes, as he lies in the bed with a content look on his face.

 

Seeing his farther go through another one of his attacks horrified shiv, but having experienced this situation more than once before he knew his dad would recover shortly, he was worried but more worried about what his dad had spoken to him about.

 

Shiv takes away the book his dad was reading which is lying on the bed beside Mehen and places it on his bedside in  doing so a clipping falls out of the book onto the floor. Shiv picks it up to find a photograph, a picture of a girl. He turns it around to the back to read:

 

Gauri kapoor

 

He looked back at the girl in the photograph and then slipped it into his blazer pocket. He looked back at his dad with apprehensive expressions, who was lying there….

 

Shiv straightened him self up from the shock he had received from his dads words and looked at the nurse "make sure you look after my dad."

 

The nurse was a little scared of Shiv, she had many a time been a victim of his anger and knew she had to be very cautious when he was around.

 

Nurse: yes sir

 

With that he left the room taking bewildered thoughts with him.
