Uma is taken to the Police Station.
MIL brings medication for Sudhanshu, he does not want to take it till he sees Uma, MIL tells him he cant see Uma, Sudhanshu turns violent. Dushyant and Sambhav come in and hold him tight, Sudhanshu calms down, when they leave him, he tries to run out. Dushyant and Sambhav go out locking Sudhanshu inside.
In the Basti Purshotam is back home from the hospital. Aai greets him and he asks for forgiveness, and thanks them for Uma's help. Aai tells him to improve and take care of Pooja.
Uma is in the cell, when the police lady comes and tells her that her mother has come to see her. Uma thinks its Aai, but its MIL, she bring food for Uma and tells Uma that being in custody, she will have time to think, she should spend time and think about why this happened to her, MIL tells Uma that if you would have listened to me and supported me this would not have happened. Uma tells her that she will never support her in anyway.

Sudhanshu is sitting, depressed, Sudha asks him to have his food, but he does not answer.

Sudhanshu thinks about times Uma sided with him at the time of diwali fire crackers she fought with Dushyant and Sambhav and then in the pooja she fought for him with MIL and cries.

Uma goes outside, the lady introduces herself as Padmavati Porohit, Uma's mother in law. Uma does not believe her. The lady explains to Uma that she is the younger sister of Ratna Jajodia, Sudhanshu's real mother, and tells Uma that she will help her, and takes Uma with her.
Sudhanshu is at the hospital, asking for Uma, when the doctor tells him that he cant see Uma, Sudhanshu gets violent and is given an injection to calm down.
Basti people reach the police station to bail Uma out, but find out that a lady Padmavati Porohit from Amber Gaon has already bailed Uma out.
