Uma informs the Basti that Sudhanshu is "pagal", and is not responsible for sending the papers for Basti's destruction.
Munna is alone, thinking about all that happened. Pooja and Gondia bring some sweets and offer it to him, Munna tells them that they should have told him the truth and all that happened would not have happened.
Uma and Sudhanshu still in the Basti. Uma requests Sudhanshu to go back home with her. Uma's mother is sad and blames herself and asks Uma to come back home. Uma tells her mother not to worry, and this is her fight and she will not run away from it. Uma tells her not to let Baba know about Sudhanshu's condition as he will not be able to bear it.
At the Jajodia House, MIL is very worried about Sudhanshu, when Dushyant comes and informs her that there has been no police complaint made, as Uma went to Basti because it was being demolished, and Sudhanshu is also there, and maybe he never went missing but was at the Basti, but Uma never told us so that we should worry.
The Basti people gather and discuss if they should inform Manohar Babu about Sudhanshu, Sapna convinces them not to tell him as he would be very hurt.
Uma comes home with Sudhanshu, MIL asks him where he went, Sudhanshu tells her because of Sambhav. Sambhav apologizes to him, but Sudhanshu tells Sambhav to apologize to Uma, which Sambhav does.
MIL tells Sudhanshu to freshen up and come for dinner, he tells her (MIL) that he and Uma will have dinner in their room. Sudhanshu leaves.
MIL asks Uma where did she find Sudhanshu and why did she tell Ramu Kaka that she was going to the police station when she was going to the Basti. Uma explains all to the MIL, that she was going to the police station, but got a call that Basti was being demolished so she went to the Basti and found Sudhanshu there.
Dushyant tells Uma that she is more worried about the Basti than Sudhanshu. Uma tells him that he is not even worried about his brother otherwise he would be out looking for him, atleast I (Uma) got him home.
Dushyant tells Uma that she should not forget that the Basti belongs to them, Basti is at their mercy, and they have done a lot of favors on the Basti. Her MIL says that you forget the favors done on you (ehsan faramosh) and to stay in the limits. Uma tells them (Dushyant and her MIL) that she cannot follow the crooked ways expected of her, and she realizes that she and Sudhanshu do not have any status or standing in the house, but she knows that whatever she does her husband will support her.
Sudha and Dushyant are in their room, Sudha praises Uma for being able to answer him whereas she has to think even to say a couple of words to him. Dushyant gets angry at her and tells her not to follow Uma's footsteps as Uma has been brought to this house for a reason and once the reason is fulfilled she will be sent back to the Basti, whereas she (Sudha) has to stay here.
Namita calls Sambhav and tries to inform him about Basti demolition as well as Uma, when Pooja and Sapna comes and stop her from talking to Sambhav. Namita gets really angry at Pooja and insults her. Sambhav calls and Pooja takes the phone from Namita and tells Sambhav that she is Uma friend, Sambhav hangs up. Namita gets more angry on Pooja and insults her really badly. Pooja has tears in her eyes.
Fakir is drinking, Munna goes to him and asks him for a drink, Munna takes the bottle from Fakir when Gonida comes and stops Munna from drinking and breaks the bottle and tells him that mistakes happen.
Sudhanshu is in the room, sad maybe even crying, MIL comes in with his medicines, he asks her about Uma, she tells him Uma is in the kitchen and to have his medicines, he tells her that he will take the medicines when Uma comes. She again asks him where he went, he tells her that Sambhav had said that if he goes to "pagal khana" Uma will not have to suffer. MIL says that she will talk to Sambhav. Sudhanshu tells her that because him when they trouble Uma she cries and he feels the pain. He asks MIL to promise that no one will trouble Uma because of him. Sudhanshu has tears in his eyes and so does MIL.
Baba is back from Shirdi. Aai feels she cannot hide the truth about Sudhanshu for long, but Sapna tells her that she must. Baba goes to distribute prasad to the Basti.
Matre meets Dushyant in the office, and tells Dushyant he is not happy cause Fakir has been brought in. Dushyant tells him if he is aware of the implications trying to get smart with them. Matre says yes the same thing can happen that happened with Sanjay. Dushyant tells him to keep quiet. Matre says that he will keep quiet about everything, Sajay's death, Manohar Babu's beating at the gateway of India. Dushyant asks him to tell his price. Matre says 50,000 every month for life. Dushyant agrees and asks him to get out. Matre says lets start from today. Dushyant tells him to go see his accountant.
Baba gives Clinton (Kid) the prasad and Clinton starts telling him about all what happened, Basti being demolished and Uma Didi coming, Munna getting angry with Uma, when Aai comes and stops Clinton from saying anything further, and tells Baba that she will tell him everything.
Baba goes to Uma's place to give the prasad, Sudha receives him, calls MIL and asks him if he would take anything, MIL says that this is his daughters house and he will not take anything here and goes to call Uma.
