Even though I found his character a bit too much blind over the financial expenditure/dowry/luxury car, I guess it would serve its purpose as the crux towards the core aspect towards the story. Though RIP to the character, the dowry debt engulfed him mentally and physically so much.
However, I still felt that overall execution to get to this point was laggy and boring with the whole EMA and kitchen politics. Maybe it just felt too cliched to get to the death but I guess, its been there, done that.
Even though the story has reached the core point, the execution would still be questionable due to the laggy pacing from the past episodes. 🤷♀️ 😆
I did like that Anurag told Kajol the truth by eroding the delusion over the sudden demise.
Good thing it was told out that the father succumbed to death due to the dowry debt.
