Priya, It's not so much as belief vs. non-believers. At least for some pragmatic people, they do not want to leave any stone unturned before starting a poojai or event. One can be a strong non-believer, but watching the discomfort of others is not so easy. And when they go to the temples, they tell our stars and pray for us too!
Giri, that thing about real vs. reel life is really funny. I've thought of characters thinking the same way in both places in several serials-abirami of anandham and nethra of laxmi and the villi in Magal, selva the dummy in bandham, the villains in Kasturi and Kolangal(aadi). Jayanthi is'nt a match for any of them.

Glimpse of what I saw today- June 16th

Bhagyam's periamma is seriously ill - so Bhagyam, hubby, daughter leave in a hurry leaving Archu alone.

Jayanthi is trying to win the love of her husband. Vinod is busy reading a book and finally apologies to her saying she should not expect intimacy from him until his sister and br-i-l are happy.

Selvam comes home and finds Arch alone and asks for the reason. Instead of worrying about the old peria paati 😆 😆, he turns his attention to Arch and they both find their hormones beginning to work😉

KR Vijaya lookalike can go do some god films like KR. At least she'll do more justice there and punyam to the planet. BTW I got a glimpse of KR Vijaya in some old movie on suntv last nite. What a stunner she was then. But then, maybe that's for some other thread.

The kr vijaya lookalike is actually kr vatsala,younger sister of kr vijaya.she has not done too many films but has been acting in serials for quite some time.she had to take off to the us cos i think she is getting a divorce.i know this cos she was playing my mother in a serial called amman which is going to be telecast in the new channel vasant tv.
