Dilip apologises for unintentional misunderstanding. Sivagami says they have been humiliated. She says Dilip 'nambavecchu keduthuteenga thambi'. Dilip says he has never crossed the limit of friendship and he has never in words or action given any indication that he loves Kavya and would like to marry her. Kavya's father is able to understand, but Sivagami again and again feels they have been cheated. Even Dilipan's father apologises to them and ask them to bless his son. But Sivagami doesn't have the maturity to forgive and bless. Darshini's father, not able to stand sivagami, now speaks ill about her and her family. Dilipan stops his would be f-i-l from talking further. Kavya asks Dilip if he is taking revenge for her past behaviour. Dilip denies that and says he has forgotten all that. The family leaves hurt.

Women police come to Selvam's garage and ask him if his wife is missing. Selvam denies saying his wife is in the house. But the policewoman insists the complaint has come from his own house. Then Selvam finds out it is Rani. She says she went to the police station because of the sad state of Selvam. Now Selvam admits his wife is missing. The policewoman enquires him why he lied earlier. He says he feared for her s-i-l's engagement and narrate the entire sequence of events leading to Archana's disappearance. The police leave after asking Selvam to report whenever required. Rani is worried, but Selvam pacifies her that now they have police help also to locate Archana.

Archana's house - Sivagami polambal about daughters and cursing Dilipan. Kavya sheding copious tears. Vinod consoles her and asks her to be brave and carry on with life. Kavya says she misunderstood friendship as love and has now become the reason for the humiliation of the entire family. Sivagami curses Dilipan more. Appa, who has been watching all this with an irritated look from the beginning shuts Sivagami's mouth saying she is the root cause for all this tamazha. Freeze on Sivagami's face.

28.10.08 Update..

brief update.

1. Sivagami husband scolding her, and tells she is reason for everything and nothing wrong on thileepan's part, he tells it was sivagami who herself imagined everything and thileepan didnt do anything and even if sivagami give saabam to thileepan it wont do anything to him. kavya's sister opens her mouth and tells why he is blaming her and she knows it was dileepn did all wrong, dad goes to slap her and tells she is the reason for everything and all kuzhapam in family, he tells instead of studying she is doing all other nonsense making kuzhapam oin family, slapping rani and now in dileepan matter she giving wrong info to kavya..

police jeep comes, police enter and ask who is archana's parents, all come out. policewoman tells archana is missing last three days and did they know abt it, sivagami is shocked and tells no and ask who gave complaint, police tells archanas sister in law gave complaint, vinod asks archanas husband didnt give the complain? police say no, sivagmi open her nasty mouth and tell how come he will give complaint becoz he only did something to her and hse dono if archana is alive or they killed her. sivagami husband tries to shut her but she continues, she tells archana came three days before but becoz they were talkign abt her sisters marrige she didnt tell anything and she guessed smthing wrong but archana didnt tell any. sivagami tells selvam is fraud and told many lies for marriege and asks the police to arrest him and get the truth. police says ok give a complaint and i will take care of it.

selvam comes with poong ain auto to house, poonga asks him to come inside, selvam after hesitation comes there. bhagyam sees selvam and runs to him crying and begs to him to apologize her. and come to house, selvam says dad asked ot come to house he came and tells he is goign back, but all force him to come and eat something, selvam standing like a tree and silent, atlast comes inside and sits to eat. bhaygam putting food for him and asks him to eat, selvam quite and jus sitting, bhagyam cries and tells she is hurt selvam thinking she is the reason for all and she accept she was one reason but archana was also to blame becoz she said they cheated her she got angry, and it is normal for mil and dil getting fights but here unepected things happened. bhaygam tells she bought land only for the welfare of family but she didnt expect things will go like this, shee keeps crying and begging to selvam to forgive her. she asks him to eat smthing atleast to search archana. selvma opens his mouth and tells what they gonna do if archana's family ask for archana and now police would hv told all to them. all r quite, selvam feels a lot how they are going to face archana's family and tells imagine if same thing happened to rani how bad they all would hv felt and same archana's family also gonna feel.... selvam sad face... freeze

My god wat a shocking news nobody expected a big shock like this.😕

29.10.08 - Selvam Update

Selvam pulambyfy what they gonna do if archana aprents come qand ask and bhagyam telling she was the one did mistake and if they come she will accept the blame and accept all scoldings from them, she begs to selvam not to torture them like this without eating and talking to them and she cries. selvam going to eat and oru voice daiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii pondatiya adichu thorathitu sapada unaku and the policewomen comes and slaps selvam and pull him, bhagyam asks why they are taking selvam and they already complained abt archanas disapperance and sad abt it but instead police giving problem to them. police women slaps bhagyam and says first i have to put inside jail, u chased ur dil and acting as if you dono anything. policewomen tells to take everyone in family in jeep, selvam begs policewomen spoke nicely the other day but today acting rude, police says now only they know the truth and got complaint abt them, selvam begs to leave his sister and he is ready to come anywhere, but police not accpeting it and take everyone in jeep, bhagyam crying rani crying, selvam sad in jeep.

Jeep stops in police station, selvam gets down and go, Sivami stands there she slaps and beats selvam and asks where is his daughter and did he kill her, selvam silent. police comes and stops sivagami and tells not to do so... selvam goes in.. Next bhagyam comes and sivagami goes and slaps her and beats him police comes and stops her. All inside police station and police visarichufy........ sivagami start opening her nonsense mouth and starts to put blame on bhaygam and selvam they did something to archana and tells police to beat them nicely and get the truth, bhagyam shocked and tells polic enot to belive sivagami and they neer tortured archana and ask to come and visarichufy to nearby house ppl. Selvam is sad and asks his mamanar if he belives he did something, mamanar says yes becoz he hided all these days and he has to belive( mamanar calling selvam nee vaaa po no mariyathi like neenga vanga) . selvam asks vinod and vinod also tells he has to belive and tells why didnt he tell all these days and he was telling lies that archana went to temple. poonga opens his mouth and tells he is a drunkard only but he does tell truth and tells they hided only becoz there was a nalla kaariyam going in sivagami's house and they dont want to spoil it. sivagami tells she is not ready to belive his acting and all in the family acting. rani tells she tired her best to stop archana from going the other day but archana only didnt listen and they didnt do anything to her.

sivagami tells if archana is not in our home then she would hv come only to selvams place but if she is not there they only did soemthing and cries.... sivagami tells police to find archana somehow and she only depends on them, police promise to find the truth somehow... all selvam family goes inside jail...

sivagami and co comes out.... selvam periyappa comes sivagami opens her nonsense mouth again and shouts at him archana dad also scold him for his part, vinod warns if something happens to his sister them he wont be a human( ipo mattum manusanava irukanga avan family). they all go, selvams periyappa sad he goes inside police station and talks to police, police women asks if he is also udanthai for archana missing, periyappa tells he is not reason and tells infact none in the family is reason for that. police shuts him and aks why he came, he tells he came to take selvam and others in jamin. police says they cant, periyappa tells he will bring lawyer polcie says no use and tells it is a missing case. periyappa asks atleast can he talk to them. police okays and periyappa goes and talks to selvam, selvam pulambify he already told other day to inform archana family but he only stopped him and now things hv gone like this. periyappa sad... selvam tells even him and his dad ok but his mom and sister being ladies and in jail now.... periyappa sad.....

30.10.08 - Selvam Update.

Selvam saysing nama nalalthuku than visayatha marachaom aana ipadi agiduche ena. Periyappa also feeling bad, he tells he will somehow bring them out in jamin. he asks about vasu, poonga tells vasu gone to work and he escaped from this, periyappa tells he will take care of him and leaves.

Auto comes, and jeyanthi original daughter of sindha and chella magal kavitha gets out, they knock the door and sindha opens. she finds jeyanthi and feels happy. ammavum magalum konjikuranga. sindha tells jeyanthi has lost weight, jeyanthi tells becoz she is seeing her after long time she feels so. then jeyanthi tells kaivtha told all what happened and ask if her mom is happy now. sindha tells yes she is happy now, jeyanthi ask where is archana now is she alive or dead, sindha tells she dono what happened to her but whole family of selvam is into jail. then sindha goes inside and brings a cover and gives to kavitha telling jus a small gift for what kavitha did. sindha and jayanthi tell she unexpectedly helped them and it is their duty to do this small favour. kavitha refuses saying she didnt expect all these things and do but sindha and jayanthi force her and give the cover, kavitha opens cover and find a 100 rupees bundle inside. then sindha tells kavitha if police come and ask abt the land matter she has tell she alos lost money, kavitha is afraid of police and tells why they are getting kavitha in this thing, sindha tells she wont hv any problem and tells police may come and ask her becoz she also involved in land matter and tells if they ask tell she also lost tmoney and complaint given in arakonam police station. kavitha then tells after long time mom and daughter meeting and let them konjify and she is leaving. kavitha leaving and herself telling sariyana kanjam giving such a little amount instead of giving a big amout.😆. jayanthi goes to take shower and sindha goes to cook idly.

2. Periyappa standing in road he sees vinod and his dad coming in bike, he tries to stop them, vinod asks why he is stopping them and whats there to talk. periyappa tells he needs to talk smthing important and begs them to listen him, vinod refuses but his dad tells let them listen wat he says. periyappa tehn explains everything, he tells he came to their home to bring archana back and apolgize for bhagyam thorathify archana, but then only he found archana hided things from them ebcoz of kavyas marriage thing so he also decided not to tell and thought archana would hv gone back to selvam place. but it didt happen and he tells archana has gone next to temple and the flower woman has seen her and after that she is missing. periyappa tells so their family didnt do anything to archana. he also remind how selvam helped before and asks if they belive if selvam would hv tortured archana and chased her. periyappa also questions vinods dad that before marriage he told him he will tell the truth abt selvam not a engg to sivagami but he only stopped him and forced to lie and got promise in temple, so periappa tells does his sambandi thinks he will tell lie. periyappa tells he has explained all and tells then its upto them to decide what to do and tell please take the case back and bring selvam out and let two of the family search for archana together, he tells there is nothing wrong in sivagami getting angry but we male ppl shud understand and make them realise.

vinod his dad periyappa in police station they are taking back the complaint given to police, police scolding them why they are doing so, vinod and dad explains they hv compromised and asks the police to leave them. police tells they will leave and tells they shud cooperate with them in enquiry.

all come out, periyappa poonga thanking vinod and his dad for doing this, selvam tells he is not happy coming out anyway he shud thank them becoz they have given a oppurunity for him to find archana. selvam tells he dono if they trust him or not but he will sure find archana somehow. bhagyam opens her mouth and tells sambandi now ur wife will be happy she was waiting for this only all these days putting us in jail and she did it, periappa tells her to shut but bhayam goes on there is nothing wrong in what she told and sivagami was waiting for a chance and now she took revenge, vinod and his dad quite, bhagaym pulls rani and goes away. all leave from there...

auto coming jeyanthi gets out of it and enters house, sivagami sitting sadly and jayanthi goes athai enna ipadi aagiduche and doing oppari to her. sivagami gets irriated and ask her to stop her acting and tells she was the reason for all these things, jeyanthi shocked and sivagami tells she only told all lies and made selvam to marry archana and now they chased her somwhere. jayanthi acting and telling she was not the reason and she only tried to do good and it was sivagami's husband her maama visaricufy abt selvam and did the marriage and she didnt expect all these will happen. jeyanthi tells come athai we will go and give complaint in police and put thw whole selvam family in jail, someone shouts stop it and it is vinod entering and asking jeyanthi to stop, vinod tells jayanthi to stop talking nonsense and tells they hv took back the complaint and selvam is out. jeyanthi and sivagami shocked and sivagami looking at vinod and her hubby...

31.10.08 - Selvam Update.

Sivagami shouting why they let selvam family out by taking back the complaint, she shouts at her hubby and son that they r irresponsible and now how they gonna find archana. sivagami's hubby tells they did becoz they felt what selvma periappa said was rite and he did it, sivagami shouts that periappa emathify them by talking nicely. her hubby now puts some sense in sivagami's head saying what she will do if selvam has complained for sivagami insulting him many time and police arrested them and he tells even vinod chased jeyanthi out of house and if sindha has complained and arrested everyone what she would hv done and will she accept it. sivagami is stunned and silent..... her hubby tells both the families will search for archana and will find soon. sivagami says she need archana some how.

Camera shows orphange home board, camera goes inside, goes inside the building, going inside room room a camera poguthu, poguthu poguthu room room a, then it comes a open space, lot of ppl sitting and talking slow motion camera going....... one gal in red saree thirumbi sitting near a tree.. camera goes near...... camera goes in front of her....... and shows the face and it is none other than archana.....

one lady comes to her think she is a official for the orphange, she asks archana why she is not opening her mouth and teling any details, she tells it is three days since she came there and not giving any info abt her but jus sitting alone and crying. the lady tells she has fallen down mayakam in bus stand and someone has tried to steal her jewels and police came to rescue her and left her in this asramam. the lady asks why she keeps crying and ask if she fought with her husband and came out of house or any problem, archana keeps crying, the lady keeps asking why she is crying, archana tells she is crying for her mom, the lady asks if she hving so much paasam on her mom why she is still away and not going back to her. archana tells becoz of paasam only she is staying here and it is better she stays away... she turns back and one man is sitting and reading news paper and finds in the back of paper archanas photo kanavillai with selvam name..... archana is shocked and blabbers smthing to the lady saying she will stay here and she dont hv any problem being there and she is happy there......

someone come and call the lady telling guest has come and invites all to come inside the asram. the lady calls archana aswell to come in.... the man drops the paper and he goes archana grabs the paper tears the ad in the paper with her photo, without even reading it she tears the ad into pieces and throw and go inside...

inside all standing and someone has come to give sarees for all... archana sees the person who has come to give saree and shocked and hides her face..... she is standing in the back. the person is none other than selvam's friend auto driver siva. the asram head starts speaking and tells, many hv know the person already but few may not known him and starts to tell abt him, she tells siva is a auto driver in chennai and whenever he comes to this town he buys something and gifts to ppl in this asram. the head asks siva to speak. siva starts to speak, he tells he is a auto driver and once he was a big kudikaran always drinking and spending the money but now he is doing all good and helping others becoz of his friend selvam, he talks good about selvam who made him good by giving advices and telling him to help others. siva tells like he got a friend like selvam if everone hv a friend then all poor people will have no worries and all will be happy. archana listens that and shows some reaction..... siva keeps telling today he has come to give sarees to all and actually he came to bring his wife back becoz she had a misunderstanding and went back. he tells now his wife joined with him but his friend selvam is sad becoz his wife is missing after a problem and not even eating and keep searching for his wife, he asks everyone to pray for selvam so he gets back his wife soon and live happily.

now all close their eyes and pray......... archana is like dono what to do. prayer over and head announces all to come and get the sarees.. que moving and getting sarees.... archana is standing dono what to do.. archana tells to the lady before her to get the saree and she will come back, archana goes out and hide behind the door, sarrees if given for all and one saree is left and head ask who is the missing person.... archana hears it and freeeze

Nov 3, Monday:

Siva continues to distribute the sarees. The other lady takes the extra saree and informs them that she would hand over it to the new girl. Siva informs the orphanage incharge that he would visit and spend the entire day with the inmates, the next day. Archana has a dhiduk.

Night time – Archana has no sleep over Siva's promise to return back the next day. She cannot sleep and decides 'intelligently' to run away from the orphanage during that artha rathiri. Madam runs, climbs over walls and runs away.

Dilip decides to pay a visit to Vinod and family as the former has not gone to office. As expected, he is snubbed by Priya and Sivagami, Vinod shows some courtesy. Only appa shows true hospitality. Dilip seeks their forgiveness for the misunderstanding. He learns from appa that the elder daughter is missing. He offers help with his friend SP. But as usual Sivagami snubs him out. Dilip wishes to speak to Kavya, appa permits, but Kavya declines to speak to him. Dilip leaves.

Siva returns back to the orphanage. He finds out that the new arrival has gone missing. After getting some more information, he gets a little doubt and asks for her picture. After seeing the picture, Siva immediately calls up Selvam, who sprints out of the garage (appadiye Tiruchi varai odinaranu theriyalai😆, aana onnu nichayam adhutha olympicsla namma tamizhnadu oru medal vaanga pogudhu👏)

Ramya comes to Vinod wanting to celebrate her birthday the next day ( thoondudhal by Jayanthi) After a lot of arguments and counter arguments, it is decided that she would be bought a new dress and can take sweets to school, but no cake cutting. Sivagami explains to Indu that Archana is missing – the child innocently asks what, why and when.

Periappa arrives and gives them the good news. Vinod wants to go to Trichy, but periappa asks him to wait till Selvam calls up from Tiruchy. Sivagami again spits venom, periappa feels she has always misunderstood Selvam. Periappa leaves. The family heaves a sigh of relief, Jayanthi left to her fuming and fretting ( ithanai opena seiyara! yaarum kavanikka maatangala?😲)Sivagami is taken inside for food. Vinod praises Kavya for her calmness, inspite of her personal loss. Appa asks Vinod to buy a new dress for Ramya kutti. Jayanthi refuses the new dress and walks out with her daughter boiling and vaithu erichal. Appa and Vinod look at her back - freeze

nov 4th, Tuesday:

Dhiduk dhiduk music, camera zooms on malai kottai, koil, kolam bus stand etc - ennamo oore villathanam panra madiri ( over build up thaangalaippa). Selvam arrives, bus stand madiri therinjudhu ( nadandhu than😆 - appada vera dress) Siva receives him. Siva suggests Selvam freshen up before they start the search, but Selvam refuses ( en paste brush ellam kondu varalaiya? andha kai paila enna kondu vandheenga bike thalaiva?) Theru theruva mostly koil maada veedi ellam thedaranga, onnu rendu edathula photo kaati visarikaranga - but no info

Jayanthi ammavoda sadhi aalosanaikku vandhu irukka - modhalla kaduppara Sindhamani amma, ella vivaramum therinjapuram romba kushi aagaranga - If Archana has run away seeing Siva, then she herself has no intention of returning back, asks Jayanthi to relax and goto office.

Again thedum padalam - orphanage pakkathula 4 road junction. Pakkathula auto stand poi visarikkalamnu they goto an auto stand and show the pic. A night shift driver recognises her after a lot of bigu and says he thought she was a 'caseu'. Selvam is hurt Auto driver apologises.( Selvam sogapadaradha kaata ippadi oru scenea? but ava enga ponnanu solla theriyalai, ivangalum ketkalai. ) Then they decide to search in that area's road ora tea kadai parotta kadais - aana adhukku opposite direction mile kanakka two wheeler poi thedaranga ( Kumaran sir, editing sari illai) Finally they come to a tea shop; the owner has no info, but a beggar there seeing the pic in Selvam's hand recognises her and recalls the previous night's incident- the beggar sees Archana walking near the bus stand. First an auto driver asking her if she wants a savari, Archana refusing, the auto leaving; Another auto with 2 guys come and try to kidnap her after a lot of abusing; but adhukkulla oru call taxila rendu ladies vandhu avala kaapathi kootitu poranga. After hearing this story, Selvam and Siva try to get as much info about the car in which she left and they decide to enquire in local call taxi offices - freeze

05.11.08 - Thirumathi Selvam

selvam and siva bike travelling, camera also going behing them, pora valiyila iruka kovila lellam paathu selvam kai eduthu kumbidurar. bike stops outside call taxi office, they see a maruthi van with the adayalam the old man said. they go into the call tax office and talk to the manager and tell they need some info and tell all what happened. manager tells he will help and ask what car was that, siva tells it is maruthi van , manager checks the chat and tells only one van went last nite and says the driver is in leave today. manager tells he will call the driver and ask him to come, manager calls driver and asks him to come to office. selvam and siva wait outside...... driver comes manager tells him they r in search of the gal whom the ladies came in his car resuced and asks where he dropped them. driver tells he dropped them in some place jaya nagar. selvams asks for address, but driver tells the passenger jus told to go to jaya nagar and before entering the place the road was diffed up so the ladies got down and said they will walk to their place. selvama sks if they gave phone number, driver tells becoz they got down middle he forgot to get the number. selvam asks for the identiy and how the ladies looked, driver tells the adayalam of the ladies sleevless jacket, around 40 yr old , short and with pop hair cutting. driver then leaves. manager tells selvam with what driver told it loks his wife is in a safe place and ask them to search with confidence. siva takes selvam saying now they know were archana is and they can find somehow.......

again bike travelling........ poranga theru theruva.. they see the road is dug up in the place. siva tells the adayalam looks like what driver said and the place shud be near by thats why they have walked.... selvam asks to stop siva and tells let them visarichufy someone and find and no use in jus going in bike, they stop one person and enquire him, the person asks details, selvam tells they dono adress but tells the apprearance of the women, the person tells there r 12 s treets and more than 100 houses and how to find.he scolds the and leave... siva and selvam move from there..... one auto stops before the house were siva and selvams tanding...... a gal gets out and goes inside, the lady who resuced archana standing inside, the gals goes and give some money to the lady and tells not to send her again to that man, the lady asks why and the gal tells the guy was a behaving like a animal. the lady tells this is normal in this work and ask her to go inside. someone shouting upstairs to leave her, the lady goes out and go into the room, one gal is beaten by 3 4 ladies, the lady stops them and shouts at them telling they shud beat her without any wounds ebcoz in their thozil they need to keep their body beautiful. the gal cries to the lady to leave her and apologizes. the lady comes out. sees another gal taking food in plate, enquires for whom, the gal tells it is fro the new gal who came last nite, the lady tells she will give her food and goes inside room, archana sitting down in one corner silent. lady goes and gives her a lecture she shud eat atleast she is not telling abt her self and keeps crying..the lady force her to eat....

selvam adn visa sitting with plates before them in sivas maamiyar veed. selvama asusula sitting and not eating, siva force him to eat and tells tomorrow morning the bit notice will be distributed in jaya nagar and somehow by tomorrow they will get news about archana. sivas wife consoles him telling he only thiruthify siva and made their life happy and he is such a good man and he will find archana soon and asks him to eat..

archana in room sitting one lady she ins getting ready somewhere, she tells archana she is leaving for work and tells archana she can be in the room comfortably and use anything she wants. archana asks what wrok she is doing, the lady laughs, archaa ask why the lady tells becoz she asked about work she is laughing. archana asks how much she earns, the lady tells depends on the season sometimes 30k a month sometimes 10 k a month averager 15k a month, she tells she saves some and send for her home aswell. she tells she also came same like her before and now the madam gave her a life with this work. archana tells she is also intrested in doing the work and asks her to help. the lady smiles and tells tomorrow she will speak to madam and she will give her work......

selvam sleeping and suddenly he wakesup screaming archana............................................

November 6, Thursday:

Selvam has a bad dream and wakes up from his sleep calling out his wife's name. Siva pacifies him. Siva's wife and mil also come up to the terrace and join the calming task. The elder lady brings viboodhee for Selvam. Siva asks Selvam to sleep, but the latter tries hard not to fall asleep and we are subjected to looking at the alarm piece every few minutes along with Selvam. Finally he sleeps for sometime before the alarm rings. Selvam wakes Siva and the duo prepare to visarichufy newspaper boys.

Early morning, camera zooms in and out of Tiruchy busstand. Newspaper agents are sorting out the morning edition papers – supera laavagama kattu kattu paperai thooki podara azhage azhagu. Other side, the friends come in their bike, mazhai vera peyuddhu as if the skies are crying for Selvam ( aiyoh Giri… unnakke idhu overa illai.. thangalai…) They locate the small boy and give him the bit notice papers with Archana's pic. The pics are inserted.

As expected, the tamil paper is delivered at the required house. The paper somehow changes hands and finds it way to the upstairs room where Archana is kulichu ready for her 'work'. The roommate leaves the paper on the bed and goes for bath. We are then put through the usual torture of seeing her leaving through page after page. Looks like the notice is in the supplementary papers. By the time, she comes to that and opens… yes you guessed right, the picture falls face down and someone comes calling for Archana. For her part, she pushes it a little under the cot. The sleeveless lady comes with another photographer and wants to take Archana's pics. Archana protests she is only 10^th and fir for sweeping, mopping & what is the need for photos? The lady says even housekeeping and hospitality are big industries and hence it is important. Pics are taken and the lady decides to keep her pics in special album.

Selvam and Siva continue their bike journey, but to no avail. They come near the theppakulam sadly. Siva ask Selvam to eat, but the hero refuses. Poonga calls on Selvam's mobile, but Selvam asks Siva to answer. The family members are updated, Poonga suggests they goto police, but Siva consoles them. Bhagyam wishes to speak to Selvam, still SElvam doesn't budge, Bhagyam cries and asks Siva to take care of Selvam- freeze

Bhagyam puts the phone down and polambifies about Selvam. Vasu wonders if something bad could have to Archana. Poonga tells him nothing of that sort would happen to her. Bhagyam continues her polambal. Rani gets worked up and wonders why her mother is not worried about Archana. Bhagyam says Arch is a odukali who has not informed of her whereabouts to either of the familyand that, atleast after seeing Siva she should have approached him instead of running away again. Bhagyam concludes this is a kootusadhi of Sivagami and Archana to maatuvittufy Bhagyam and kudumbam. Poonga shouts at his wife to stop.But she continues her tirade against Archana. Poonga slaps her( aiyo aiyo why this sort of violence against women?) and scolds her. But she gets more angry and locks herself inside the kitchen saying if she leaves her life, Archana would comeback and they can all 'lift Archana over head and celebrate( thalaila thooki vecchittu kondadalam)😆. Her kids bang on the kitchen door. Poonga also apologizes, but Bhagyam is not listening. She locates eli marundhu and drinks it with water. Before that she advises Rani to study well and get a good job - illaina en gadhi than unakkum.

The men manage to open the door and lift the unconscious Bhagyam ( I donot know the effect of eli marundhu on humans, but rats ellam nalla saappittu kundu bhustiya aayiduchu - this is my experience) Bike thalaivar and friend still searching. Selvam is very upset that bit notices produced no results. Siva suggests since the women came by car, they should be well off and hence taken Archana for veetu velai ( amma Vani, naan sollala, Siva than sonnadhu😛) and they can find her if she comes outside to buy vegetables etc. Selvam doesnot think so. Poonga and Rani pacing outside a hospital room worriedly. Vasu is missing.

Bike journey continues. Enroute they stop for water.Siva goes to the shop on the other side. Selvam is dreaming about his wife and walks in the middle of the road, only to dash against a big van, whose driver brakes at the right time. Selvam falls down, but no injuries. Siva helps him up and helps him to the side of the road and gives water. Siva says Selvam is now his responsibility and if something happens to him how can be answer his parents. Selvam says he doesn't care for his mother who is the root cause of all this.

Back to hospital. Vasu brings medicines. As in hundred other serials and movies, the medical staff says 'treatment is going on and they cannot say anything about the patient at the moment'.

Back to bike travel on bridge. Siva is irritated that they have no vaalu or thalai to piduchufy. Selvam thinks and says since Archana is new, nobody would know her, but if they can get the description of the ladies who took her enquire about them, they may possibly get a lead. The friends start with a new vigour - freeze
