RP,
Am doing a short and sweet update of 1/11/08.
kaveri feeding saapatu raaman. She gives him report of her sight of Gomti and visit to his parents house.
Next scene is at quarry. Saravanan meets a dada there and wants to make benami deal. Tells him I'm stella's husband, Robert's son in law, become Annamalai and I'll forward checks of f-i-l's industries. Dada agrees.
Saapatu raaman see's kavita at coffe shop flirting. Takes cell phone shots. Shows Kavita. Very dirty fellow. Deepika, you did well divorcing this idiot. Kavita is floored by Saapatu raaman's account.

I think I can help here. Kaveri refers to Kavitha, and her husband is being referred to as Sapaturaman, but I have no idea why. Deepika was shown talking and being very, very friendly with some colleague of hers, and Arvind takes the photo with his camera phone. He shows it to Kavitha, who tells him it was despicable on his part to take his ex-wife's photo, just because she was being friendly, well over-friendly, with someone. He explains it by saying that he is still concerned about her and wants to make sure that if she is thinking of getting married again, this person is truly serious about her.

Thanks Eljay.
In the opening scene, Kavita's husband is putting food on the table for this guy who got called Saapaturaman. Being divorced, it's none of his business that his ex is dating somebody else. Or going to marry that person, even given that Deepika and he have a child. Somehow deepika needs to get married again and have a happy life.

Short and sweet update 1/17/08
Gomti has called Jeeva. The noble heart knows where he is, and her goal is to talk bout his child and want to rejoin Akila.
Kavita gets a long sermon from her husband about going to his house. He wants to know why and wonders what he has to do to gain her trust. She says Aravindan, are you done, am sorry, and did not tell you so you won't get hurt.
Akila's mom has come to know about chat with gomti. She puts sutti for child. Mom tells Akila that Gomti know where their hubby is hiding to Akila's consternation.
Scene shifts to Bangalore where tenant has taken keys to the house. A jeeva is being questioned by the landlord who only wants a married tenant. Jeeva says he's married, wants to marry somebody else, has an unmarried sister Kavita and will leave the house if the landlord's bro deepak won't marry her.
Last 2 minutes Deepika is sounding very animated, livid, talking behind closed doors, unheard to viewers. She swoons. Freeze.
