RS is still blabbering ' tells Reva that he wants to atone his sins. "Inimel antha MM MM kku I wont give any problem.. not just that ..I will make sure that I make amends.." Asattu Reva believes all this story, tells daddy that she will not hate him any more' hmmm, unakku ellam eppO than buthi varumO??? Palace de Bhagyam ' hubby and wife jolly aa saapidaraanga ' Park maama romance mood le irukkar, wants wifey darling to eat with him '.wife apdiye vazhinjings'.hmm enna da Roja kku vantha sOthanai??? Reva calls DSDR's mobile ' avar athisayamaa kulikkaraar. LR 1 is very happy that DIL is still lovey dovey with her darling son. "Engalai maranthuttiyaa??? appO appO pesinaa thane hubby ' wife relation apdiye irukkum'" blah blah. Reva says that she has some thing important to tell DSDR "pls ask him to come to the temple ' 10 am, ok??"
DSDR gets the news from mommy who is beaming from ear to ear. Mommy says that he need not go abroad and suffer " reva is ready to live with you, apram nee rich thane?? Ethukku abroad pOi veyyille kashta padanum?? " DSDR is skeptical " namba drama vai nambittalaa?? Apdi namba maattale'" Anyways decides to meet her. MM MM 's shed ' Nandhini and the boys are sitting as if their ship sank just then and they have no insurance. MM MM comes , all charged and chides them for sitting and moping. Nandhini says that they are not sure about the shed "how can we work happily??" MM MM says that they have 10 days to vacate " we can work day and night and sell at least 30 cars . With that money in hand we have a bright chance of a better shed " . The jing bang comes to know that it is Archu who had this brain wave ' all set to work. Since Nandhini has no accounts to write (panam vanthaa thane accounts ) offers to work as an errand boy. Tries to move some bulky stuff and gets hurt. MM MM fusses over her and asks her to be seated.
Work is in full swing ' MM MM has forgotten to call the painter. Turns to Nandhini 'who is missing. Well, she has changed the office room in to a dressing room, wears MM MM 's old pant and T shirt and is all set to work as a mechanic. MM MM is moved ' says that Archu always peps him up but Nandhini has gone a step further ' " playing an assistant to mechanic??!!" Nandhini says that a good friend is one who joins the work force when needed "Am I not a good friend??" Work starts'

Raani's household - as usual Sarroojja dresses up but does not clean the comb. FIL
shouts at Raani for being so lackadaisical - habbaaa. Money is less and so Raani is
asked to take over the finances . DSDR comes to the temple and goes on yapping

pours ice cold water on such extravaganza. Asks DSDR to come and request RS
" Enga appa thirunthittar , so you come with your parents and ask for compensation.
Shed place le thaane ippO supermarket ??" DSDR agrees and Reva wants to know
about the money " enga appa kudutha money ai enna pannuve??" DSDR says that it
rightfully belongs to MM MM " anna kitte kuduppen " - of course he has different ideas
for that money. Reva is happy that DSDR is also changed (pOonai kannai moodina
ulagam asthamichu pOidumaam, Reva nee thaan antha pOonai yaa??) Since Raani
has cut off extra dishes at home, Sarroja comes to her hubby's hotel "nalla mookku
pidikka thingalaam " - Well, the story of Maamiyar Veedu getting looted is known to
Sarrojja. Gannu appeals to her good senses and says " nee ithai veet le sOnna apram
Raani unnai 1/4 paisa kku mathikka maatta. This tea kadai of mine will become a 5 star
hotel soon.." Sarrojja is SBT (Scorpion Bitten Thief )

Update for Wednesday, July 13, 2011:
Selvam, Nandini and his crew working away through the night. Nandini's dad calls to find out why she hasn't yet come home, but Nandini says she will work with the men, overruling Selvam's protests. Work, work, more work! Archu comes there with dinner, Selvam tells her about Nandini's decision, she also stays, so this has become a family business now. Tea, dinner served by Archu, and the work goes on.
Poonga, Bhagyam and Vasu on their way to RS's house. Poonga is still distrustful of RS, but Bhagyam says that he has changed now, so why fear? Vasu tells them to hurry. They reach RS's house, with all the goondas on guard outside. Reva and her mom welcome them and invite them in, Vasu and Bhagyam go in, but Poonga is still reluctant. Finally, after Reva and her mom assure them that RS has reformed and is doing surya namaskaram and puja to God, etc., he also goes in. RS finishes his puja with a grand arathi, and then comes out, greets them. Then he wants to know how much money they are going to give, Bhagyam says they have come to get the money for Selvam's shed. Now the truth comes out - RS wants to know how much money Vasu will give for his wife's support after the divorce, so that this matter can be settled without going to court. Reva and her mother are shocked. Poonga says he knew this man hadn't changed. Vasu and Bhagyam are stunned.

I had hopes of seeing the end of this story after a two week absence - all my hopes have been dashed to the ground.

Update for Thurs, July 14, 2011:
RS clarifies that the josiyar told him his time wasn't good (neram seriyillai), so he did surya namaskaram and pujai. He says that family deserves less respect that the street dogs. Poonga gets angry and they come to blows. The goondas in front come inside but RS tells them to go back, and orders Poonga, Vasu and Bhagyam to leave. Poonga says even if RS doesn't reform, he will have to reply to the courts, and so Poonga is going to take him to court. Poonga, Vasu and Bhagyam leave. RS tells his wife and daughter that he will never change his mind and would rather give the store to a beggar than to Vasu.
Akash wants tiffin, and Saroja also sits down. The tiffin looks like fried rice and Saroja asks Rani why she has made fried rice. Rani says it was made with left over rice, and Akash says he doesn't want this, he wants idlis and dosas. Saroja adds fuel to the fire saying Rani is doing all this in the name of sikkanam. Akash's dad also joins in, saying he is supposed to eat good food, since he is a heart patient, (never heard this before) not all this left over food, but Rani has made idlis for him with some chutney. Overall, Akash is angry and gets up without eating, even though his mom tells him it is good. He wants money, but mom has no money,. Rani says she has only Rs. 400 left after buying the groceries, he says he needs it to recharge (his phone?) and get petrol. Rani says Okay, I will give the money, I will manage somehow for money, and gives him the cash. Mom asks Saroja if she has any cash, and Saroja says she doesn't have any money (I hope she gets caught soon with the 2 lakhs she is hiding in her room). She goes into her room. MIL is worrying about how they will manage for cash, and Rani says she will get it from her brother. She leaves, and FIL says it is all because of the neram when she came to their house.
Saroja goes to her room, calls her husband and asks him to buy her some biryani when he comes in the afternoon, and not to show it to the others in the house.
RS's man (the one whose daughter died) brings a document to Mangalam and asks her to get it signed by RS, so it can be registered tomorrow. He sees Revathy and starts telling her not to hurt her father, talks of how her father does everything out of paasam for her, even this land business is for Reva only. This land deal has come out of some panchayat done by RS, who got it by threatening both parties, and all this is being done by RS for his only child's sake. He advises Reva to divorce Vasu, since the man cannot give her a good life and listen to her father. Reva says Okay to him. After he leaves, Mangalam asks her why she said Okay to that man, and Reva says there is no point in doing or saying anything else. Reva has an idea when she goes to put away the document.
Reva comes downstairs, tells her mother that she is going somewhere and will be back soon, and leaves with something in her hands.

Update for Fri, July 15, 2011:
Ganapathy is walking home with the biryani packet in his hand, remembers Saroja's admonition not to let anyone in the house see him with the biryani, calls Saroja. Here she is sitting in her room, clutching her stomach (she is so hungry!), and picks up the phone. Gana tells her to come to her room, and he jumps over the wall and hands her the packet through the window. This scene was disgusting - she opens the packet of food and gobbles it as if she has never seen food before. Gana is drooling at the sight of food, he asks for some, she gives him some in his mouth and he bites down - on her finger (serves her right!). She screams, and - her mother enters the room and she is caught red handed. Mom is angry with her for eating the biryani all by herself, and on top of having said that she had no money to give her mother. Just then, Rani enters, with the provisions and grocery stuff in her hands. She says that she did not sacrifice the family maanam, she pawned her bangles for Rs. 2000, and even bought mutton for Saroja to eat, tells MIL to make the biryani the way Saroja likes it, and goes to the kitchen. Saroja is looking guilty for a change.
Reva comes back from her secret mission and creeps upstairs, to be caught by Mangalam, who wants to know where she had gone. She says she went to meet some friend, and goes upstairs. she takes out the land deed documents from the cupboard, inserts a few sheets and says to herself, This is repayment for what you did to Selvam. Mangalam comes in, catches her in the act and scolds her saying, You know your appa is sharp, he will find you out, then wha twill happen to you?
Selvam in the shed, working, Nandini in the office. Two men come there and ask to take the car. Selvam says it is not ready, they say they got a call from a woman, Selvam asks Nandini about it, and it turns out she was thinking of another car. The customer gets angry and leaves, saying he will take his business elsewhere. Selvam is furious with Nandini and tells her not to cause him such problems, this is why he didn't want her to do work in the shed, she insisted, and look what has happened>? She runs to the office, crying.
Kuppan and Rangan come and tell Selvam that he was too harsh with Nandini and she is still crying. He goes inside the office, where Nandini is still looking for a tissue, since she didn't find one, she is using her hands instead. Selvam apologizes to her, and while they are all in the room, Archu comes with food. She wants to know why there are all gathered in the office, and when they come out, she notices Nandini's tears and wants to know what happened. Selvam explains and says he got angry with Nandini because he doesn't want her to be working with all that oil and grease with them. Nandini says that she wasn't crying because Selvam scolded her, she was crying because it is her wedding anniversary. Selva insists on calling Sezhiyan and proceeds to do so (phone number enna by hearta theriyuma?) He dials the number on his cell.
