Ram after apologising to Poonga forces him to join them in drink party. Tempted Poonga makes some fuss and then goes with Ram and his friend. The singers are still singing..Sivagami notices Dilipan's arrival there and gets worried and tells this to her husband. But he tells," why are you worried..it is ok for him to attend the wedding" He receives him and introduces him to Sori's parents," this is Vinod's office manager"
By this time Vinod comes there and takes Diliban to the newsly married couple. Priya notices this and tells Kavya. . Kavya becomes nervous ...Diliban and Vinod reach them and Vinod starts introducing Diliban to Sori but he tells," oh...I know Him come Mr Diliban..." shakes hands with him. Diliban tells," congratulations...this is my small gift for both of you" Sori tells Kavya to take it and she does so. Vinod requests Dili to stand for the pciture....Sori asks him to have food and go. . Sivagami comes to Archana and asks her to come to take pictures with the couple. At this point Selvam comes there too and Sivagami tells,"Maapileh...please come for the pictures...aamaa...have you brought any gift?" Archana tells," yes...this is all we could manage...this arai pavun gold....that is all" Sivagami answers," ayo...this itself is too much...vaanga maapilleh...vaamaa" they reach the stage and Selvam gives his present. Sori sarcastically asks what is that and Selvam says it is a coin. Sori again asks," one rupee coin?" while his friends laugh at this idiotic joke...Archana getting all fired up and tells," that is gold coin...arai pavun"
Sori tells," arai pavunaa....what Kavya we can not even make a ear ring with this right?.." Archana says," even with kaal pavun anything can be made..." Selvam tells," just engalaaleh mudinchadu ivlothaan..." Archana tells, this may be a small thing for you...but for us this is actually beyong our limits" She tries to walk away from there...but Selvam calls her back.... she comes back too...Now Sori says to Archana," madam..please have a big smile...since there is nagai in punnagai too...don't stingy like your present"
After the pciture session Archana and Selvam tries to get down from there but Viniod comes and request them to be there for the family portrait.....and they both again pose for the picture. The photographer tries to focus and suddenly he asks..can any two people get out of that frame....quickly Sori tells Archana and Selvam to be out....Fuming Archana stares at him and grabs Selvams hands and goes away from there....Sori says," Thank you man,....everyone say...cheese..."
Everyone feels bad for Archu and Selvam. Sivagami and her anni take Archana to a room and Sivagami makes a thaamboola thattu with fruits and a bundle of money and tells," Archana...inthaammam ithai kondu poi give them as your present...I felt bad when maapilleh got angry with you for that small present...that is why amma...I want all my children to be treated the same amma...come on take it" Archana gets so furious and asks," just now they told that we are beggers and ..here you are trying to prove it really....why amma ..I can not do this...you can keep this..ok? She leaves from while Sivagami starts polambaling to her anni.
Tired looking Selvam is talking to the cook in the kitchen about the food. The cook says that there is anough food for 20 to 25 people that is all...Selvam infomrs that Ponnu...maapilleh and the other family members are yet to eat..and asks him to be careful with the maapilleh's food. Wiping his sweat he goes up to call all of them to have food. Archana asks him where he ate already. Selvam replies,"saapaadaa..innum evlo velai irukku..."he moves from there.
Poonga is having drinks with Ram and his friend. Friend thanks Poonga for teaching them how to mix drinks....Poonga tells about his friends. Ram's friend asks," appadiyaa poovoo...." After this he starts talking bad about Poonga's annan....and Poonga gets angry..and starts blabbering and scold him holding his shirt. At this point Jayanthi comes there and Poonga complaints this to Jayanthi.....
