Continued from Friday. Kasthuri telling that she never forgot the past and that is why is there to talk to them. She asks Rekha go come to the office but refuses saying she has had enough insults from Kasthuri. Kasthuri gives the toy that Santosh wanted but Rekha takes snatches and throws it away saying she does not want any hand-downs from her. Kasthuri tells her why she so angry with her. Radha tells her to go away as Rekha is refusing to go with her. Kasthuri tells her when she came in she had the feeling she is coming to her house but not is leaving with a heavy heart. Rekha immediately misconstrues the whole thing and tells Kasthuri that she knows that is meant by her words and will pay her back for the house soon as she does not want to be in debt with her. Kasthuri tells Radha that everything she says is misunderstood by Rekha and leaves. Rekha tells her to take the gift back.
Bharath is near the well and thinks. Mangai goes to him and asks what he is thinking and he tells her about starting a business in town. Mangai tells him not to go to town as he will have to come back late. She wants him by her sde at all times. Bharath laughs and says there is nothing to be down in the village. He asks her what she wants from town and Mangai asks for halva. Bharath asks if she wants jasmine with halva and she tells him it is up to him. Bharath takes the bicyle and cycles out. Meets some men and asks where he can find sweet stall to buy halva. The men tell him it is about 8 km aways and show him the way.
Radha goes to Jothi's house ad asks her what she is doing. Jothi says she is cooking. Jothi asks Radha if Rekha has gone to work. Radha tells her Rekha does not work with Kasthuri and tells her about how Kasthuri has insulted Rekha. Radha informs her Rekha stoped working for Kasthuri. Jothi is happy to hear this and asks what Rekha plans to do. Rekha says that Annamalai has insured and has Rekha as beneficiary. Ram is listening with interest to all this. Jothi asks how much and is told 8 crores. Ram's mouth opens wide. He asks Radha's well being and says he has something to do outside and leaves. Jothi asks Radha if she has spoken to Rekha about Ram and she tells Jothi she is still trying. Jothi says it is because of Kashturi that Ram is not suffering. Jothi tells Radha to sit while she gets coffee.
Mangai and family wait for Bharath. Sindha asks where Bharath is and whre Mangai has sent him. Neighbor comes and asks what they are discussing. The Village radio(Sindha) sees some men and asks if they had seen her SIL. The men tell her about Bharath going to get sweets. Mangai tell her mother to be quiet and not to announce to the whole village. Sister teases her Mangai and run out. Bharath arrives with halva and malipoo. The neighbors tease him and tell Sindha she is lucky to have a SIL like Bharath.
Kasthuri, Amirtha and Ganesh meet. Ganesh tells her she should not have gone and be insulted. Kasthuri says she is not bothered about the insult but is hurt that they want to return the money for the house. Amirtha says they are business minded and Kasthuri has not understood Rekha. She says Rakha has become jealous because Kasthuri is very successful. Kasthuri tells Amitha that is not so and does not want to hear complaints about Rekha. She says they might get together someday and the whatever bad things they talk about now will hinder their efforts at friendship.
Kasthuri paces her office and is in deep thought. Pavitra comes to her and informs Ram is there to see her. Kasthuri tells her to send him in. THODARUM.
