Being Elena is liberty. Damon loves her. That is something. And if I'd be Elena, I would never be with Stefan first place but still...Stefan and Damon both loves her. And then she had Jeremy as brother. WOW! Jeremy, Matt, Damon, Stefan...list goes on. Story of Elena makes me believe that it is not necessary that you have to be extra and out of the world beautiful and hot...even simplicity, honestly and normal looks can attract love.
