DOTW: Selfish, Selfless?

Stefan forcing Damon to change- thats not selfish or selfless... thats just his love for his brother😳
Elena finding difficulty choosing a brother- Thats plain selfish... i know she needs to find out for herself whom she really loves but she left both brothers hanging 😔
Damon vs Stefan- well i dont think he wud hav compelled her even if she saw him but i wudnt call that selfish... him saving elena itself is a selfless thing😃
Damon telling Elena to choose- thats not selfish... even i want her just to choose one brother from heart😆

Stefan forcing Damon to change: Selfish cause he "forced" it on Damon even though he didn't want it.


Elena finding difficulty choosing a brother: Selfish, I know she was confused and all, but there's a saying, don't lead someone on if you are not sure of your own feelings, unfortunately that cant be said for her after 3x19.

Damon vs Stefan: I would say Damon was selfish in compelling her the first time they met. Stefan was selfless when he went to save her but stalking her all those months w/o her knowledge was selfish .

Damon telling Elena to choose to make a choice: Damon wasn't telling Elena to choose exactly, it was his last moments or so he thought and he used the word "if" u had to make a choice who would get the "goodbye".It wasn't either selfish or selfless imo.

It was selfish.Definitely.I mean,damon did not want to turn.All he ever wanted was to be with katherine.And he didnot want to live a life that did not have her..and at that point he believed she was trapped in the tomb forever.

Even after turning,all he ever did was find a way to open the damn tomb.

Stefan shouldn't have forced damon.

Thats completely unfair.She has no rights keeping both of them hanging by a thread.I mean,she HAS to pick one eventually.she can't really be all i love you both and i can't afford to lose anyone.

I do get where she's coming from.she did say in one episode that i can't chose because i've lost so many people that i love..and i can't lose one more.But,she should've realized that her not choosing can cause problems between stefan and damon.

*Damon vs Stefan. When Damon met Elena, he compelled her to forget they ever met. When Stefan saved Elena, even though Elena was half dead so she had no idea who was doing what so compulsion was not needed but would Stefan have compelled her? Would he have made her forget that he saved her? The fact that upon seeing her face, he decided to pursue her, does it make him selfish or selfless?

I think he would've.He wanted to meet her the right way.and get to know her the right way...isn't that why he joined the school?And also waited for a long time before he could tell her that he was involved in saving her life and the whole incident.And that does kinda make him selfless.

Damon honestly expected it to be him.I don't blame him for being frustrated...who wouldn't be? Stefan told her to resolve all her issues...he even told her if they ever find their way back...if she wants,she can tell him what happened with damon.It was a bit selfish of damon..but it is something that can be justified.
