I Agree with u completely.I was so upset when i saw elena and stefan give up on their love for one another but i am sure this is just a passing phase and soon stelena will be back with a vengeance.

Elena said that they'll have to let Stefan go... that means she is willing to move on, so is not on the rebound. She is willingly wanting to move past him. She said it out of her free will, and no pressure.

I don't think that there is anything wrong if she goes for Damon now because she has made a clean break with Stefan. There is no two timing, no scathing feelings between Stelena, and people can fall in love again. That could happen, a human heart is vast and if a person truly wants to move on (letting go of the past which is extremely hard and lots of people can't do it) then they can move on and fall in love again.

Its who we are with that defines our relationship not who we previously were with!!... Cause if one keeps on looking at the past then they can't move forward!!

Damon was Rose's first choice but he still loved Elena, he didn't stop loving her with Rose showering her likeness and affection for him... so I guess what matters is: Whats in our heart and who's in our heart?
I love Damon, and he loves Elena so I'll be tremendously happy if she goes for him now... it all depends on what Elena wants, no pressure!!

Again no hard feelings for Stelena shippers!!

I've seen and read quite a few interviews of Paul in which he's said that Stefan and Elena's relationship may never be the same. I think this whole ripper thing (which was always a part of him) is just to bring Stefan and Damon on par with each other. So that Elena knows that both the guys she feels for are equally capable of good and bad. 😊
Plus since everyone's enjoying 'ripper' Stefan more than normal Stefan who was on a bambi blood diet... this could go on for a while before Stefan comes back to his "humane" self. 😛

I don't wanna comment on the love triangle... for all u know they could surprise us in the end with Elena picking Matt 😆

Any gal would gladly love Damon. But Damon needs to be with a woman that he loves. And I am a Stelena shipper.. and love Damonrine too.. so I would like him to be with Katherine.. once after she realises that Damon should have been her first and only choice!

I totally agree with everything you said👏 being a fellow Stelena shipper I was like "aww" during that whole Delena scene (in fact I've been awwing a lot this season for Delena😆)

Elena seriously cannot deny that she isnt in love with Damon, if she does she is just plain delusional. I agree that Stefan and Elena are officially over and Elena has a right to move on as she pleases.

Totally agree that one of the reason's why I'm Stelena is because Damon deserves someone better than Elena (not hating on her here) because he is too awe worthy to be a rebound choice for someone especially if that someone has been with his brother.

Even if Elena does end up with Damon, she will never stop loving Stefan, she will never forget the moments she had with Stefan and a lover like Damon does not deserve that...a lover like Damon deserves someone who will love him for him and everything he is.

While they were shooting miss mystic falls 1x19... Marcos Siega (the director) told Ian not to mess up the dance sequence because it's the first time Damon was in love 😲. Wait!? what?!!
Yes. Damon did love Katherine... but his love for her was obsessive. selfish. it changed him for the worse. turned him against his brother. turned him against humanity (remember he was willing to unleash a vengeful group of tomb vamps out just to get Katherine back). His love for her Katherine was unhealthy... he was subconsciously aware of the fact that Katherine was evil... he still did all those things because he loved her blindly. Damon is fully over Katherine now. 😃If Katherine is after Damon now it's because he's playing hard to get. She loves Stefan.
Die hard Damon fans would ship him with his soap dish over Katherine. They have a physical chemistry but otherwise it's hollow.

Damon is completely in love with Elena now. It changed him for the better. This is love in it's purest and truest form--- Damon's love for Elena is and has always been selfless although it is not reciprocated. He's put him self in danger just so that he can re-unite her with Stefan if it's what she wants. Maybe he's flirtatious and playful... but he still respects her boundaries. Love for him is not getting it back.. it's having her trust, having her friendship... being around her.
Elena has cheesed me off so many times... that i've said she doesn't deserve Damon. But there's a reason I keep coming around and supporting Delena... it's because of Damon's love for her. 😉
