How did you get into TVD? - Page 2

I actually was driving my car to campus and I heard a commercial on the radio for TVD and I was like oh yeah this show's coming on (I heard about it somehwere else too) so I told my brother to record for me that night..(it was on the 2nd episode)...so I went home and watched the pilot online and watched the 2nd episode and was hooked

I live in London, I saw the promos a few times, and always told myself, you should check it out sometime. In fact, I researched VD and never even knew it was based on a book since 1991, and well I thought twilight, which I loved before the movies was becoming too over rated and well stephanie meyer, honestly isn't the greatest writer. I guess I was too blinded by Edward cullens glistening body to care hehe. But honestly, VD adapts to modern times without taking the whole essence of vampires away and their traditional ideology.

And also one word: Damon
his witty comments are awesome! Just love him!

my sister bought the books during her Twilight craze. she liked them, but not as much as she adored Twilight. considering the fact that I read Twilight cos of her (and did not understand the craze, frankly) I wasn't so sure I wanted to read TVD - but she said it was darker, and she didn't like it as much.

I loved it. I literally finished the four books within like, a week or two. the first two books within a couple of days. took me awhile to get book five, but loved that too.

then I found out about the show, and that Ian was in it. gah, while first I was a bit iffy, 'cos things were diffferent, some VMs I saw on YT, and discussions I read online got me drawn in. Took me awhile to get the episodes off someone (and I'm still only eight episodes in) but I'm hooked. XD

honestly speaking i haven't read the books yet...i know very bad!!!

to be honest i was juss feeling bored one day and decided to watch a new show online. tvd had something about it which made me want to watch it. after a couple of epis, i was hooked.

The promos of the show seemed awesome. (:

Watched right from the first episode, and got totally hooked.

^ I feel you girl. I ALWAYS loved Damon. Ian is awesome. Then I started falling for Paul. So I made my decision. While in the books/show I want Damon, in real life I want me some Paul<3
