dhruvi, read through your 'long' post a few pages ago. one thing first - you're in high school? from the way you express yourself I thought you were elder than me, not younger! haha. I figured you'd be like a first or second year college student. woah, in shock here!
and yup for everything you said! we should do the same thing for fanfictions/oneshots so that we don't have oneshots cluttering the pages. one thread with all the oneshots, and on the first page maybe a list of links if you have long stories too so people who enjoy your writing can find them easily. it was something we did in the Desh forums as well, after awhile because OSs were everywhere.
a DT usually has one or two videobies and coolbies, depending on the number of people doing the updates. to be either, you have to be doing the updates for at least a month, consistently, not shirking on duties and stuff. and it's usually in the hands of the channel mod before first promotion, and then mods after that. depending on how active the forum is, we'll get a DT - sometimes there are up to four viewbies, and two moderaters alongside the channel mod/coolbies/videobies. (just what I think though, I'm not sure if there's a quota system - it's what I figured when I was part of the Desh DT, but then again, I was just a coolbie :P)
While I don't think the DT is chosen on timezones, I think that would be a good idea, because then we'd always have at least one active member right? we should breach that fact to the admins, maybe it'd help them manage things better. /shrugs
