on the brightside for me, I have the summer to finish the show. unfortunately, I can only really watch it after my sister's wedding. too much chaos atm. sigh. I'll probably sneak in a few episodes though. heh.

and dhruvi: I think you qualify, especially considering it was your idea. I mean, like someone mentioned we need people who represent all pairings, no one baised. and our DT needs to be able to work together. that's extremely important. I've seen DTs where the mods do not get along, and then the forum is split too. it sucks because things get really political and crap.

I don't know how we'll get promoted, but I think we should all be as we've been now. No fights, no bashing. criticism is fine - but do not go out of your way to offend someone, and never bash the actor's themselves, unless it's something about their acting not being up to par for the episode. do not be mean about it. that's just wrong I feel. you can have a personal bias, but do not be so blunt and disrespectful, I feel.

and I shall stop the spiel. hehe. we should start planning out the forum now, so that when it opens we won't have a plethora of similar topics taking up the space.

egs: ATs for characters and pairings, one for each character and each pairing so everyone is represented. we should choose who is opening what so that it's organised. if someone could write short summaries for each episode so far, split that down for an archive/summary/about the show feature. also, collection points. before we get out DT, we can create these and then get the channel mod to sticky them. or one of the mods/viewbies who are TVD fans.

rules about stories/vids/creations should be fleshed out now so we don't mess up the forum. same with promos/updates/articles so that the same thing isn't repeated over and over again.

I think we're lucky in the sense that we know in advance that we're getting a forum, we can get organised before it's open so everyone on our TVD list at the moment can have a part to play. all of us will have roles, even if not all of us wind up on the DT. at least we can help whoever does end up on the DT to keep things clean and fun for us.

I need to stop going off in rants. haha. I get these ideas that I just have to get down before I forget. you don't have to use them, obviously, they're just put out there for consideration.

ooh, forgot, we should separate book posts from the TV show posts so that discussion can take place for both, without people getting confused. obviously we can have combined discussions as well, but for ATs, we should represent both separately, methinks.
