Yeah started to read too, very diff, but I like both differences.

Okay, so I read all five books and watched the first episode of the TV show.... and I love the books and think the show started off pretty well :)

deff books are better. but for a series that have to be streched out and fluffled a bit more, it's good too. damon is so hot in both!

i read all 4 of them they are alright, very dark though. I stopped watching the series because its nothing like the books. they changed everything from the salvatore brothers history to the name of the highschool. to tell you the truth, the books started to get boring after the 5th book- Nightfall, the plot "who should elena choose" is getting annoying and old. I have given up the series after reading nightfall which was a total disaster. Not wasting my precious $20 on these books.
