Beginning poetry

As much as I loved the execution of today's opening section where everyone is reciting the poetry, I was not happy that they had reworded my favorite poetry from ZNMD. I am sure you all figured out that the poetry was paraphrased from Javed Akhtar's poetry for ZNMD "toh zinda ho tum"...and if you didn't then here is the original one:

I had no problem with them using this but the rewording of this poem (they made it passive) killed the effect and depth for me...I don't know but I feel had they kept the original one, the impact of the moments would have been so much better.

Anyone felt the same way?
