Yep Jackson storyline seems like a waste of time and clearly a stupid move by writers.

I am counting the days shivu. Two weeks seems like a year. Well still we are half way through still half way to go.

i liked the episode but there were few things that i think they might sort out in future

1) As much as i love Klaus i need to see him getting dagger-ed by Kol becoz he deserves it

2) Elijah needs to explain why exactly did he comfort Kol's proxy murderer Elena...did he vow 'Family Above All' or 'Klaus Above All'.

3) Hayley-Jackson marriage will be a failure before it starts...it was said somewhere that Hayley will not be able to complete the vows as she hide the fact that Hope is alive so the ritual won't work.

4) Davina reminds me of stronger version of MFG but nevertheless just as obsessive on killing Klaus as them...she will learn her lesson better when she faces the consequences of her action...she thinks she knows everything and refuses to listen to people who have actually spend time with real Kol.

5) Putting Bekah in Cami's body will be failure too becoz i don't see Rebekah sacrificing her family for her desires specially when Hope's life is at stake...btw i have to stay Esther came up with an awesome plan.. perfect torture for Klaus to lose his sister and friend at the same time.

6) Felt bad for Finn but i think he will soon figured out that Klaus is hiding something becoz he could register that Klaus was worried about Dahlia's appearance.

felt bad for Kol...poor guy is pushed away from his family without any reason

Coming to your second point about elijah obsession with reforming klaus. Here my take, Marcel.said few episodes back that elijah love to fix things if they are broken. Who is more damaged in the mikaelsons it none other than Klaus. So elijah always gave him the priority thinking once he fixed klaus then he will have a perfect family.

He saw klaus insecurity and the torture he endured from mikael. So he wanted to help him. Coming to finn I think he should have atleast stood by his brothers instead of always siding with esther.

Coming to the point I think in the quest for saving klaus he forgot about kol, Rebecca and finn. He thought they are less damaged but his negligence made them more damaged then he would have imagined. Come on 1000 years can change anyone

So yeah when elijah says family above all he means it but klaus is and will always be his top priority.

I saw want davina to learn her lesson the hard way. Even in Tvd bonnie hated damon but now they are friends because she began to let go off her thinking that vampires are all evil.

But I don't want that easy escape for davina. She needs to learn that her obsession for killing klaus was very stupid. Don't ask me what is the hard way I have no idea haha.

I want that stupid Hayley-Jackson marriage to happen:-P why? Coz i hate Hayley and i want her to go away from Elijah. And even more, i hate the idea of Hayley having a baby with Klaus and marrying his brother. Yuck🤢
