Before I continue, I would like to say that the Originals is bringing us nail biting episodes every week. This is one show I look forward to, like anything. The story, execution and everything is just beyond amazing. Ok, let's go to 2x05. "The Red Door" < Elijah centric title.
Elijah- I always start with him because I just relish him beyond words. ☺️ That person dazzles even when he's chained. I wish the shirt was off... (shirtless captive whose beyond hot) Ok, I don't know what kind of peace is that bitch talking about. Such a curse in the name of a mother. My God! Daniel was just fantastic in every scene. The way he stood straight trying to resist Esther messing with his memories was so frigging hot☺️☺️ He turned me on in almost every scene (hides behind the curtain) So, that's the reason by his oh-so-clean habit to cleaning himself after every kill. A psychological act to make him believe that everything is ok. Smart reasoning, I kind of liked the explanation the creatives tried to give. So he killed Tatia. That was depressing. The two dopplegangers out of 3 were destroyed because of Esther's guilty-conscious mind. (Thank god for Salvatores who saved the third one😉)
Coming back, OFMG! A drop of water in a desert. The #haylijahkiss after I dunno how long. I wish that dream was true. Though I wondered how she conveniently got rid of Esther by biting him. But still that one dream just made my week! I can live in haylijah dreams for a week now!!
ONE thing, that I didn't get was why was Elijah craving for Hayley's blood? Has Esther messed up with his appetite? On the lines of Dr. Maxfield from TVD? I hope that's not the case. Please clear this for me hun!
Klaus- OHH YAY!! The knight of the dark <3 How can people tag him inhuman when he repeatedly sacrifices his own life for the people he admires. BUT Niklaus Mikaelson, giving the stake to Cami was nothing short of sheer stupidity 🤣, though recognizing Kol just made it up. Why do I feel that sooner or later, Kol will trigger his love for Klelijah and join their sides? I mean he's clearly not fond of Esther or Mikael...so just hoping. I like him more-er that the original Kol.
Coming back to Klaus, him slaughtering the people compelled by Mikael looked so devilish (and I am not a sadist :| ) I loved the way he said that it's either me or Mikael coming out of it. The face-off was frigging awesome. I LOVED IT. Especially when Marcel and Hayley joined. It looked like an action-packed scene. Absolutely amazing. The spell by Davina and Kaleb was breathtaking.
I don't understand how the stake reached Davina? It was Cami who pulled it out? Don't tell me she gave it to Davina. *Cami🤢*
Nina was just breathtaking as Tatia. Like Nina mentioned, Tatia was the purest of the 3 dopplegangers and added another feather to Nina's kitty. She was just amazing as Tatia...in every scene. Especially where she sees Elijah's true self :(
That fight between Kaleb and Davina was kinda funny than exciting 🤣 It looked like a tug-of-war 🤣🤣
The end was pain pain and pain 🥺 Elijah looked disoriented and in shock 🥺🥺
